Urgh just got hold of Fate/Stay Night Volume 3 and its got really thin pages compared to any other manga I’ve got (including volume 1 and 2)
What is with this? It’s just as expensive as other manga so why do tokyopop feel that they can start skimping on the paper?
Has anyone else noticed this with any other manga localised by tokyopop recently?
For those of you interested there’s a sub up for Evangelion 2.0: You Can (NOT) Adance over at mininova.
I just skimmed through it before I go crash, the quality is good for a cam rip and the subbing seems to be rather on spot. Only complaint is the font used makes things kind of diffcult to read as its set close and words tend to flow into each other when speed reading. Outside of that I think it’s worth the download as beggers can’t be choosers this early on.

The new OP totally threw me out the loop when I saw it. 
Almost seemed like it was a slice of life/school drama now.
Interesting how Mio might be a pivtol point to the plot after she showed up in Godoh’s flashback earlier. Seems like Reiji and Elen’s stay in Japan isn’t lasting for long thanks to Inferno (and Cal) showing up, either.
Speaking of Cal - How the hell did she get into that state in only 2 years?! Scythe Master must be pumping her with a helluva lot of growth hormones or something, because she looks like she’s 20 now. Not like that’s a bad thing, mind you.
Should get interesting (and more action intensive) the next episode!

So now we get a two year time skip… and I’m surprised that Reiji and Elen aren’t lovers. I thought for sure they’d be lovers, but they seem to have more of a sibling relationship rather than lovers. I thought Elen calling Reiji “brother” was just an act, but the two of them really do seem to have a brother/sister type of relationship.
So what did we learn this episode? We learned that two years in Japan’s time means a flat-chested loli can turn into a voluptuous vixen with big tits. AMAZING.

Anyone one follow High School of the Dead? It actually seems pretty good since it is a japanese take on the western zombie outbreak movies. Too bad it’s on a hiatus, I just hope the author just decides to start it up again.
The artist for Highschool of the Dead also does H-manga under the name of Inuzama (or maybe circle name, I don’t even know), and another (much worse) series like Highschool called Black Triage-- which should be on mangatoshokan.

Yea Baki is definitely something I’ve been checking out. I sort of went out of order though I read New Grappler Baki and started Son of Ogre (Around meeting Che and Olivia) before reading Grappler Baki. So I’ve decided to just go back and start at the beginning before reading the rest of Baki Son of Ogre.
Just watch the anime series for Grappler Baki, the manga is too hard to find. Honestly, it isn’t that important since Yujirou is SO FUCKING STRONG, and the fight between him and Baki was goddamn fucking awesome as an anime.
