Late to the party, but I just finished Eureka 7 this week and loved every minute of it. The character development was handled well as were the relationships, excellent animation and a rather gripping plot made for such a splendid watch.
Looking forward to see the movie (and keeping an open mind about it) soon.
Spicy Wolf S2 #5

I like how Diana’s so mysterious and helpful at the same time to Lawrence. Definitely one of the more interesting characters the series has shown; and hopefully we’ll hear more of her stories later on in the series, if Lawrence will get to meet her again.
And yeah, you can’t believe how much I’m waiting for that brat Amanti to get owned. It looks like Horo isn’t happy the slightest being with him either - so we’ll probably see her rebel from him in the next episode.
Zan Zetsubou #5’s highlight was leap year segment which devolved later into “leap people” - with an interesting play of words later on in the segment. Chiri singing totally came out of nowhere, too.
Just finished watching Mind Game for the first time. It was pretty fucking amazing. I cant believe it took me so long to finally check it out.
anyone know when the fairy tail anime is scheduled to be released? I need to finish this manga already.
I like Diana too. She’s such an interesting character, and even if they don’t progress any further with her storyline wise I’m perfectly ok with that as she’s already got me sold.

In general seems like Brain’s Base’s adaptation of S&W is just as solid as the first season.
Veritas is pretty awesome. Anyone also somehow dislike Vera? I admit that she is hot, but she gives off the holier than thou vibe and has the whole super powerful biatch syndrome. I have a feeling that somewhere down the line someone is really gonna knock her off her high horse. I don’t hate her but I just don’t like how 99% of the school is riding her as their messiah (even though she might be).

If you thought that Mirai would go into her rebellious mode; well, think again. She was actually a lot more happier (except when hearing about Megu’s mother and Furuichi’s grandsons deaths) and a lot more trustful to Mari. Basically an episode which shows the human side of the earthquake tragedy.

Nagi the Card Battling Loli S2 #19

A double feature; the first having Nagi trying to get out of the house and go off with Hayate to buy a new cellphone. Ultimately, she gets into a Yu-Gi-Oh card battle parody against 3 kids who look remarkably similar to the male cast of Doraemon but with shades. Lots of fanservice in those cards.
2nd one is about Sakuya wanting either Hayate or Wataru to give her a good laugh as a birthday gift. Hayate can’t muster to do anything to Maria (and who could?) but got owned in the end. Same goes with Wataru to Isumi.
Next week we’ll see…Isumi in maid outfit!
As for Haruhi S2 episode 9/Endless Eight episode 8 - only the last 5 or 6 minutes had new footage which concluded the arc. Hopefully we’ll get into the good stuff the next episode.
Well, you guys pretty much said everything I was going to say about Spice #5. Great episode. I am enjoying this season much more than the first. Here’s to hoping Amarti wins, but Horo ditches him and reveals she’s been playing him to get money. I want something to smack that smug ass down.
Bake #5: Another great episode. Sure there’s lots of talking in this show, yet it remains engaging.

Any of you guys keep up with Shamo? I really like and the manga you linked reminded me of it, except Shamo is much grittier and violent. It starts off karate but you see a lot of stuff later on and at it’s current point it’s like mma.
I couldn’t deal with Shamo. Main character was too unlikeable, then he went to china, then some other shit. If you want to talk about Shamo, do it in the Baki thread since I think that is where the manly men hang out, so you could actually get discussion there.
Word on the street is that the manga is currently stalled because it is stuck up in some legal shit.

it seems like they deviate from the manga a little with maria ross going to the ruins of xerxes and then xing instead of that country town. hope they do more of that, especially with the next episode when lust is going to get pwnt. never understood why the author decided just randomly kill off a (sorta) important character so heres hoping for something different this time.

It was just a funny gag in the first episode because she didn’t have a back pack, but still had her school supplies. They haven’t used it since.
