Just finished watching Hayate no Gotoku ep. #18. The new intro is nice, although I liked the song from the orginal intro of season 2 a little bit better. Ending in general is great though (Nagi! :lovin: ).
Episode in itself was great, but that’s nothing outside of that norm with this series.
For those of you who read the Hayate no Gotoku manga, would I be spoiling anything for myself if I started to read it? I’m not one to read manga much lately, but I love this series so much I’m toying around with the idea of reading the manga just to give me my fill inbetween episode releases.
I just finished the Eureka 7 movie. I don’t know how I really feel about it. I enjoyed it, but I’m not really diggin’ what they did to the story and all the characters. I feel as if the creators didn’t like what they had going on with Eureka 7 and decided to just start over and fuck everything up. I had no idea what was going on half of the time, shit was all just too new and different for me.
They should have just continued the original storyline imo. I felt like I was watching some End of Evangelion shit.
I just saw it too and didn’t like it. The animation was good but the delivery was stale to me. At first I thought it was a continuation of the series and was thinking that I missed a lot from the series. :lol:
After all that Endless Eight bullshit, I honestly don’t think I’ll watch Haruhi again. I’ll probably just check out the screencaps to confirm my prediction.
Well, eventually you would catch up to where the story is now…so you wouldn’t spoil anything you haven’t seen just by “starting” to read it.
I started reading it after season 1 ended. The new episodes sometimes give me deja vu, but I still enjoy them.
Just watched Phantom 18. Yeah, I finally broke down and decided to watch Inferno’s subs, but their subs are inferior to Nekomimi’s. Lol @ translating “aniki” to a simple, childish “bro” and translating “kuso” to “fuck”. Bad. :lol:

[details=Spoiler]At least Elen and Reiji are reunited. I knew Cal wasn’t dead because they didn’t show her actually dying. Even without the preview, the very end of the episode proved that Cal was still alive; there’s no way a plate with a gun and pocket watch would be sitting there after such an explosion. Episode 18 showed that Cal was still alive, even without the preview.
Now I’m wondering where the hell this is all going. Claudia is presumebly dead (can’t tell exactly, death could’ve been faked but she’s probably gone for good), Cal is missing, and Reiji and Elen ran away from everything to Mexico. So what is going to happen next? Hell if I know. Given the preview, it sounds like Cal has some resentment toward Reiji now… and although I hope this doesn’t happen because it’s incredibly clich, she might get picked up by Inferno to become another assassin aimed at finding Reiji and Elen.[/details]
Cal can never return as a bad girl. Or be a part of Inferno. I would still rage on Skates for that. But, Japan. They never cease to shock and piss me off.
I do that in every show. Besides, I posted about it this time to prove to you that what you expected didn’t happen.

So this week we get a bit more on George and Shannon’s relationship and in turn, Kanon and Jessica’s. Seems Shannon has struck a deal with Beatrice to break the mirror which kept her off to let her have a stronger relationship with George; but in reality, it won’t probably be a happy ending as Beatrice mentioned in the end of the episode. Kanon still refers to himself as furniture (in a rather dull manner) while there were actually a few funny Jessica scenes here or there.
No sign of Battler or Maria yet. Hmm.
GA #2 was pretty fun. Noda’s sleeptalking on Tomokane and giving her that imaginative adventure was pretty funny; and that part with Kisaragi and the pencil cases was nice, too.
Been slowly getting into Anime again lately. Haven’t been into it since the early/mid 90’s when I was watching stuff like Akira, Ninja Scroll, Appleseed, Guyver, Wicked City, MD Geist, etc.
Just put Elfin Lied on my Netflix. Heard it’s supposed to be ultra violent.
