Better an alternate universe than a horrible movie recap that would have been pointless. Granted, a movie that takes place AFTER the series would have been awesome, but that rarely ever happens, and even if it did it probably would have ruined everything.

Well I got what I wanted out of the film so I’m fine with it.~

Who is that in your av MC? Looks like Midna.

(one of) My waifu~

E7 movie? No thanks. The ending effectively killed it for me.

I haven’t really watched any slice of life types of anime yet. I’ve narrowed it down to these three:

Hyakko
Minami-Ke
K-On

Which one should I watch first?

Hyakko first, definitely.

Drop K-on altogether.

Hyakko then Minami-ke. They’re comedies that are done well (well sans Minami S2, but you may like it) compared to how K-ON fared.

Then move you should move on to Aria next. :bgrin:

Alright, sounds good. I’ll watch Hyakko, Minami-ke, then Aria.

Detective Conan used to be my shit back when I used to watch it on Adult Swim. I want to start watching it again, but it seems like it’ll take a hella long time to catch up. I can’t believe it hasn’t ended yet.

supreme jd- I also recommend Genshiken, it’s slice of life as well.

has anyone ever seen ‘please save my earth’

can u recommend something like this?

I gotta +1 Genshiken if you haven’t seen it. It may not be filled with waifus but it may be the “sliciest of life” out of the one’s you have there. (haven’t seen minami-ke)

Watch them in that order.
The people who suggest to not watch it are just greedy and possesive. The thought of K-On bringing happiness just makes them burn with jealousy and biblical wrath. They are just possessive and tsundere. But as the bible says “watch K-on or go to hell”. And by Minami ke I suggest just watching just the first season, then go through the rest and come back to watch the 2nd and 3rd season plus OAD.

Oh yeah. Geijutsuka Art Design Class 2 FINALLY got subbed
and it was all good.

OK…so I started watching Valkyria Chronicles from the beginning, and I’ve decided that I’m in love with the story (all over again). Isara is freaking resourceful, Welkin is a typical innocent airhead who has a hidden genius and fascination for nature, and Alicia is just all types of awesome…except for the “tsundere” towards Welkin. I honestly hate the “I don’t trust you now, but until I do I’m gonna act like a total bitch towards you” character relationships, but Alicia can get away with it.

Hyakko!

^___________^!

oh man pollux is about to get beasted on haha

GOOO KENICHI!!!:nunchuck:

i really recommend k-on. really hoping for a k-on 2.

Just started reading JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. For someone who has only read 1 other manga (Fap Note) I have to say that this shit is dope as hell. It’s so strange that they have yet to make a long running JoJo anime because it would indeed be Godly.

Basquash 18 out!

Basquash 18

[details=Spoiler]A lot went on in this episode to build up a big match coming up next episode or the one after. It seems like Rouge 2.0 will likely have a memory wipe, making all that character development with Dan seem worthless (although she’ll likely get it back anyways). Maybe Miyuki won’t be a worthless side character soon. It also seems like the Eclipse manager was behind Sela’s father’s assassination, but I have no idea wtf is going on in Turbine Town. What are they building there?

We also find out that James will give Team Basquash another chance to go to the moon if they win an upcoming exhibition match… but who is the team they have to play against? I have a feeling it’ll be Eclipse 2.0 or some team relating to Slash, but we’ll see.

Lol @ Navi and Sela. Seems to be a really bizarre pairing considering he’s a giant. In before there’s ero fan art of Sela getting practically split in half by Navi. I’m sure there’s already some as I’m typing this, but I haven’t seen any yet. I was also disappointed by the tease of Sela fanservice but really got nothing.

Next episode looks like it’d focus more on Sela’s past again, but perhaps it’ll have some basketball as well; preivews can be misleading sometimes.[/details]

You know, I have yet to watch an episode of Eureka 7. Come the fall season when things slow down I think I’m going to finally take the time and watch it as everyone I’ve ever talked to had nothing but good things to say about it.

At the very least check out the first season of Minami-ke as that is the better of the three and just good in general. K-On was good for the first 6 episodes, after that I felt as if they just let the series slide by with nothing ever really developing. Never even heard of Hyakko, so I can’t really offer an opinion on that.

K-on was ok, but it really could have been so much better. I still intend to watch the OVA when that gets released next year, but outside of that if there was a 2nd season announced I’d be hard pressed to get hyped unless there was promise of it breaking away from the path season 1 took.
