princess lover ep2, the show has become the typicality of a harem so far, lol.
So my slow ass FINALLY watched K-On 13. I thought there was a performance in the 13th episode. I was slightly dissapointed. As usual the show ended on chuckles. I’m glad I watched it. Dunno if I’ll ever watch it again but it was cute while it lasted.
saw “20th century boys” 1 & 2 during an overseas flight on JAL. got me reading the manga. I like how it rides the line of being a real drama, and a literal epic. Good as any fiction novel I’ve read so far. It also made me realize that it’s been a long time since i’ve read a manga that’s about regular people.
It’s also one of the few times that I’d recommend seeing the movies first.
Very good crop this season. I’d say my top 5 are
- Kanamemo
- Fight Ippatsu Juuden Chan
- Sora no manimani
- Bakemonogatari
- Princess Lover
Number 3 is tentative on the second episode being up to par. 4 and 5 maybe be interchangeable, depending on how it plays out. Haruhi, Spice and Wolf and SZS aren’t included because they are a given. Yoku Wakaru Gendai mahou could also replace princess lover if it doesn’t deliver. Its got a deadpan girl, thats got to be worth something.

I’ve gotten pretty far into Tsubasa so far(ch201) and the tie-ins are having me wanting to read xxxHolic(I saw some of the anime) and Card Captor Sakura to a lesser extent. I feel like someone at CLAMP is sitting in a dark room with her fingers tented going “Good, good…”.
Finished K-ON today.
It’s pretty good, although the “Finale” wasn’t much of a finale. lol.
The ending was garbage, but at least it sets up for the posibility of another season. crosses fingers

Finally started 20th Century Boys. So far, so good. I’m still too early into the story to make a decision on it.
Rioting Soul: Definitely check out the OVAs for both Tsubasa and xxxholic. They’re both great on their own, but after reading the manga, you’ll get more out of them.

The lineage of all the Sakuras and Syaorans is so confusing. So Syaoran’s parents used to be the Syaoran and Sakura from Card Captor Sakura but then shit got fucked up at some point. So now the clones of Syaoran and Sakura are the actual parents of Syaoran, which means that Watanuki’s parents are also the clones since he took Syaoran’s place. :xeye:
EDIT: Ah I see, it’s easier to understand now that I know that Card Captor Sakura’s world isn’t canonically connected to Tsubasa/xxxHolic.
