Yeah, Rukia was awesome before the rescue arc. Then it fizzled away being a damsel in distress and even worse when it comes to the later fights in the series (except one).
Mushroom Samba was one of the best episodes of the series because of it; alongside it being a smart mutt (it can hack into OSes) so I can agree with that.
I liked everyone from Kannagi, but her and Akiba (ironic otaku) are the most unique characters in the series, IMO.

Also going to finish up Hyakko today, this show is blowing my expectations of it right out of the water, it’s going to end up in my top 3 for sure, and is easily the best ‘school life’ show I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching.

Yeeesss, +1 love for the highly underrated Hyakko. I can’t fathom why this show wasn’t too liked to the anime populace; calling it “poorly constructed” or “hit and miss” when it comes to the humor or the characters, when it just got better as the episodes went by.

The comedy seems a bit better I suppose. Mostly abusing the mostly worthless Cruz, but I expect we’ll be seeing that for a looooong time.
