So I’m gonna get a new phone for my birthday. Which is the best one without regards to price? That S6 Edge+ looks sexy.

go with the LG G4

or g3 or note4

If you plan on getting the S6 Edge+, I highly recommend getting a case that provides good a good grip when holding the phone. IMO it’s not one of the best phones to hold without a case. It’s very slippery and the “edge” part of the phone doesn’t help gripping it without a case either.

I’m also in the market for a new phone. If I were to choose one right now, it would be the Note 5. I still use my Note 3 but it no longer has the ability to make wireless payments. It has a NFC chip but it does not have HCE (Host Card Emulation) that’s required to use Android Pay.

If you have to get a Note get a note 4

I also have a note 3. I just feel like if I’m gonna upgrade to a note 4 there’s not much of a difference isn’t it?

You damn Samsung lovers. You could wait for Nexus 5X and 6P.

Never had problems with Google so not sure.

Well Marshmallow is gonna have an automatic app data backup feature, so there’s that

Never heard of Marshmallow, I’ll give it a look later. Google failed me twice, also the only person I know who has had problems with it.

Samsung should seriously step up their speed game next year. App reloading on a phone with an octa-core processor and 4 GB of RAM is not acceptable. This has always been my issue with samsung phones. They get slow, and apps not getting stored in the background. I would love it if they can match apple iphone’s speed and fluidity.

You guys ever heard of the app Showbox?

Yes. There’s also popcorn time. They keep crashing on my tablet so I dont use it.

I torrent anyway though.

For those with a Samsung Galaxy S5, is there an official extended battery sold in the US?

I’ve looked but found nothing.
Thanks.

Do you know if there are apps like this for foreign/asian films?

Don’t they track you if you use popcorn time though

So, boys

It’s September 27th. That means in two days Google will officially announce the new devices (two of which are known to us).

Do you find either Nexus 5X or 6P a possible upgrade?

Deego Cloud Storage. 100GB free.

AND HERE WE GO!

Nexus 5
Nexus 6
Nexus 7 2013
Nexus 7 2013 LTE
Nexus 9
Nexus 9 LTE
Nexus Player

Marshmallow factory images are live!

I’m pretty happy that N7 (2013) is getting Marshmallow. I was pretty bummed that it might not, since to me it’s still one of their better Nexus devices.

I’m hoping Google turns a corner here. Apple still gives updates to their 2011 tech (iPad 2).

No idea about that.

The 6P is really good, although I’m not a fan of the design. I like the 5X’s design but 16gb, 2gb ram, and no stereo speakers turned me off.

I also don’t like supporting the pay a premium for more storage ordeal so screw them.

Just checking in from my iPhone 6s Plus. Theres a lot of little things I miss from android that I took for granted i.e. A multi colored notification light and being able to put my icons where I wanted them on my home screen.

I’ve heard jail breaking will bring iPhone closer to android in terms of customization so I plan on jailbreaking it as soon as it’s available. I do like being able to delete emails straight from the notification popup and how clicking on phone number links immediately dials instead of going into the dialer which you then have to take another step to dial.

Can’t say which one I prefer just yet. They each have pros and cons
