So am I.

Been wondering…I have a samsung galaxy tab 7 2…is this device touch-accurate enough to sketch on with a pen stencil?

I got this case that I can use as a stand so I can watch sports on my note 3 while at work

I may or may not have purchased a NVIDIA Shield and may or may not think it’s actually pretty damn awesome.

Just got an S4 today, since its the first phone I’ve bought with my own money, its only natural I want to open the motherfucker up and really play with it.

I’ve flipped through a couple tutorials and rooting it looks simple as hell.
Once I’ve got that far however I don’t know shit about modding cell phones.

After getting root access anybody mind pointing me in the direction of some cool shit I can do with my phone.

For sure I want to clean out the garbage software and apps I don’t need, I read USB teathering is an option.

whats a good remote desktop?

splashtop is supposed to be good. i think it’s 4 bucks a month though
logmein costs like 30 bucks but you might be able to find it hacked somewhere
isn’t there an official remote desktop app from ms now too? i don’t know.

Hey anyone with the note 3. How is the skype on it. Can you reliably skype with people on it

you dont clean the roms, you back up the original rom then install the a stable clean version without bloatware. cyonogenmod is the best. always get the last stable rom and not mess with the nightly builds.

check youtube for guides, its simple.

Yeah Samsung stock roms are bloated and unpleasant, though before jumping to AOSP roms I did have some luck just rooting my phone and using Titanium Backup to uninstall unnecessary apps based on a Google Docs spreadsheet I found online.

After flipping through pages and pages of tutorials, my new S4 is running the latest Cyanogenmod.

Yeah, the hardest part about installing roms is the first time. I took about 2 hours to get Cyanogenmod on my Nook HD+, but it’ll never be too tough again.

What programs are you guys using to put music on your Samsung players? I periodically have this problem where my Samsung Galaxy Player gives warnings like the SD card is damaged when it’s not. The player moves music files into the LOST.DIR folder. I’m starting to think it has something to do with the music player I use to put the files on the SGP (which is Winamp).

The problem with finding another program is that Winamp uses the ID3 tag info when transferring files, and everything’s organized neatly into Artist/Song folders. I’ve tried to just put music on my player, but the song-playing I use doesn’t automatically recognize the tag data. I want a desktop program that can transfer files how Winamp does, so I can see if it really is Winamp.

^ is that like an android ipod? (LOL)
you can get another music app or something. I like gonemad music player.

Yeah; it doesn’t have phone capability except for VOIP. I already have a cell phone.

Did you adopt Gonemad for playing music after trying other players? My current player on the Galaxy Player is Poweramp. It’s good, but this Gonemad is looking better after some initial research.

yeah I tried other players but I like gonemad best. especially the very simple 2x1 widget with transparency. all I see is the play/backward/forward logos.

also switched to “neatrom” 4.3 jelllybean. it comes with an installer that lets you pick what you want installed on your system too. so far its perfect.

Poweramp is really nice. Tried all the top ones and IMO its the best.

Finally set up WatchON remote control for note 3 and its sick. Super easy source selection, surround and DVR controls, nice remote substitute.

Xbox 360 SmartGlass isn’t so smart…I can login but it simply will not connect. Need to troubleshoot some more…

No, I meant placing music onto the player from your desktop or laptop. What do you guys use for that. I already use Poweramp for playing the music. I’m using Winamp for putting the music on the player, and I’m thinking SOMETHING about it might be screwing up my music. Through all the SD Card warnings and whatnot, the music seems to be the only thing magically finding its way into the LOST.DIR folder from time-to-time. Everything else I put onto the player seems fine. I know it’s not Poweramp, because I first ran across this problem with the default player the SGP came with.

I put my music anywhere(just like my dicc in bitches) and play from gonemusic player’s file manager

Figured I’d ask here… The Xperia Z1 just came out recently in the US For Tmo and is known as the Z1S. The headphone jack was moved more towards the center of the top of the phone per request of customers preferring it.

Can someone tell me why you would prefer the headphone jack more towards the center rather off to the side?
