Yeah, I was just going to report that the OEM music player actually allows you to close the app completely via the menu button. I forgot there was a menu button on this phone. It doesn’t light up until you actually press it. I blame my inexperience with Android phones.
Is anyone having wifi issues with the note 3? My note can’t seem to hold a steady connection. My wife and both have the note 3. She has no problems and everything runs/loads fine. My phone will keep saying loading or network disabled because Internet connection is slow. We will be sitting right next to each other and I can’t get anything to work. Everything else runs on wifi fine except my phone.
That shit happens with me too. I don’t know why. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even use the wifi on my phone
Switched to the Quantum v3 ROM on my S III. 4.4 is pretty sexy, gotta say.
Was messing with 4.4 on my Nexus 7 after finally getting OTA update. Glad they ditched the green and blue color schemes from the past… all white seems more ‘serious.’ I installed Google Launcher apk and I like the transparent nav bars a lot.

if you don’t know… hit the menu key while looking at the list of available wifi networks, then select “advanced (options)” and then uncheck the boxes for network switch and always available scanning.

wifi manager app helps too.
just disconnect then reconnect wifi or just choose a diff wifi connection.

I had this happen on my Droid 2 two years ago. It would work fine and then suddenly act like I had no internet whatsoever, while my laptop and Xbox were working fine. 3G would also randomly hang, showing that it was stuck uploading when there was no throughput, and I would have to activate Airplane Mode to get it to work again.
I unticked auto network and it’s still the same. how do you get $50 google play credit? is the deal over already?

Is there an app that can put your PC into standby mode? I know waking it up from standby mode is a little too much to ask for, but is there a way to make it go to sleep? I know of remote applications, but that’s too much overhead for what I want. I just want the option to put the computer into standby mode from another room using my device.

kim: i don’t understand why you would be turning off your network if you’re on wifi. if your wifi fails for whatever reason tmobile’s network should send the text right?
I can try this, but it looks to be too much. I don’t need full fledged access to my PC; just something that can turn it off (and perhaps on if that isn’t asking too much).

i downloaded an emulator on my phone recently and i recommended that i clean my android OS to help it run better. does the android OS really get bogged down like with windows computers? i haven’t watched any porno on it or anything. what can i do to wipe it or test to see if the registry or whatever is corrupted?

What DS emu do you use? I’ve been using PPSSPP for psp games, while most games dont run perfectly they are playable.
