I love my One, I’m on my second one though because of a bad flash, the second is holding up amazingly too and flashes everything else just fine, running the Google Edition stock Android ROM on it and it’s fucking butter, amazing battery life, great camera, 32GB storage is easy to work with.
The One is the same specs as the S4 except the S4 processor is clocked a little faster, it’s the exact same chip though. It also has the same 2GB of RAM. It’s seriously the same user experience when you take Sense vs Touchwiz out of the picture. I prefer Sense 5 over TW anyways.

I read the moga has lots of synching problems, and is over-rated, cheap-feeling, and overpriced. And at that cost, I could go the ps3 controller method. Oh, a review from Amazon states that the Red Samurai is a viable alternative. While I wish people who had experience with the Red Samurai were able to help me, it would seem everybody’s just “use what I use”, without any real input on the question at all…then again, this part of the forum was never too helpful for me anyway. Too many opinions, no real answers. Thanks anyway.
Anybody got a Nook HD/HD+? Looks like the best deal on an Android tablet right now. Just put CM10 on it and you get a solid tablet with external storage up to 64GB and one of the best screens in the industry starting at $129 at the moment.
this week I got the LG motion 4G.
could see youtube and dailymotion vids on it using chrome.
but couldn’t see vids from most other sites.
including xvideos and other porn sites.
sites kept saying I needed to download adobe flash 
so then I tried downloading adobe flash, but couldn’t.
downloaded firefox and dolphin, then I was able to dl adobe flash.
works like a charm now.
but firefox is slow as fuck.
chrome is the fastest but most unreliable.
but dolphin is the most reliable for seeing vids.
for example.
can’t watch crunchyroll on chrome of course.
on firefox I can hear the crunchyroll vids but cant see it…screen just stays black.
but using dolphin crunchyroll works like a charm.
go figure.

I think this phone is officially in “absurdly big” territory. I usually rock big pockets, and this is beyond what I’d like to walk around with. The good thing I found out when researching this “phablet” (I fucking hate that term) is this little accessory.

I saw it during a promo video for the Z Ultra and figured it was just for that phone, but if you listen to the guy until about the 1:30 mark you’ll see that it’s just a generic NFC device (Though I suspect it uses NFC to make a bluetooth pairing). This thing is brilliant. I had no idea such a thing existed.
Phablet is the worst naming of a device category ever. Just say it. Sounds like something on Queer Eye.

Because we are lazy americans. jk. Xperia Z phone looks pretty nice though, it’s too bad the battery life sucks… something around 5 hrs compared to HTC One which is 8 hrs, and S4 which is 10 hrs.
Anyone on t-mobile who just recently upgraded with their new no contract stuff? I’m still on a contract but was curious how it all works. I guess I could just walk in to the store and ask though, but maybe I can get a quick answer!

I’m signing up with that JUMP plan T-Mobile has as soon as it goes live the 16th, but could someone who’s read up on it confirm one thing for me? I have to be on the plan for 6 months before I can swap phones for the first time? I have to sign up, sit back for 6 months before getting an upgrade?
Are there any arcade emus that use CURRENT roms rather than hard-to-find rom sets from like 4 years ago? And retroarc is acting retarded and only recognizing my pad for it’s menus, but not the games.

you’re about a year behind. the gs4 has been out for awhile.
verizon will let you keep your unlimited ONLY if you buy a phone off contract. so for a high end phone like the gs4 you’re looking at $600+. if i had unlimited verizon that’s what i’d be doing for sure. if that’s too much for you then the moto x should be good enough. it’ll be a mid range phone but only cost about 300 off contract. i think it will be announced august 1 and be out by the end of august.
anyone get the google CHROMECAST???! i ordered one from bestbuy but didn’t get the super shipping so it won’t be here till wednesday. i’m hoping i’ll be able to watch streaming sports and twitch stuff from my pc on my big tv. it was only $35 bucks so wasn’t that big of a risk.
Yeah thats what they told my wife that maybe we might either gotta stick with out stratospheres if we want to keep our unlimited or get the 2gb plan. Either way ill still be paying the same thing for the bill. Any suggested sites too look for some cheap phones for the Verizion? Ebay or CL probably more.
I thought there would be some noticeable visual differences in 4.3, but it literally feels exactly the same as 4.2.2. Supposed to be smoother but there’s more slowdown here and there on my first gen Nexus 7. I guess the Snapdragon in the 2G Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 will benefit the most.
