Ya should have said stylus in a phone (excluding the old windows mobile phones)

Roaming icon?

I don’t get why it would be roaming in my own house…

What browser yall using? I currently use Dolphin.

chrome

I used doph before but it crashes on my galaxy S3. I just use “lightning”. they are all pretty much the same anyway. I still have the stock broswer and chrome in there.

I’m using boat browser atm to change things up.

I heard good things about lighting but Dolphin has yet to be retarded on me yet…

FF4 is out on android now. It’s the DS version.

Anyways… I have full battery, but I play the game for like 5 minutes and then my phone shuts off. When I turn it back on it says my phone has low battery. Faulty battery or do you mean to tell me the game uses 80% battery in 5 minutes, because it plays fine if it’s charging.

Firefox.

Dolphin no longer supports Flash. Chrome never supported it. FF does.

Plus, it’s 10x better than what it was months ago. Add-ons, such as AdBlock… Firefox Sync, which syncs your bookmarks, passwords, settings… etc with desktop version of FF (aka, one of the main reasons people use Chrome). Not much reason to use anything else these days.

In my case, it was a bad battery.

maybe you guys can help me…i got my samsung galaxy s4 on may 30…and today i hit 2gb already. my thunderbolt it took me a whole month to hit 3 gb…any ideas on what programs might be running and surfin da internet? I had to redo my contract so i got a 4 gb limit. i know we tend to play with phones when we first get them a bit, but this seems kinda crazy. i downloaded task killer as well shut off hq quality for youtube vids to see if that helps.

any other suggestions?

Make sure auto-sync is off when you don’t need it… that’s usually the main thing people have running during the day that kills their data.

Have an app like Power Toggles installed so that you can switch off auto-sync and mobile data quickly.

In Jellybean 4.2, there’s also a data consumption menu in the settings that let’s you see what apps are using the most data.

I read FF was SLOW on mobile platforms.

i tried firefox on geo’s recommendation and it just wasn’t for me. i’ve actually gone back to the aosp browser. it’s straight forward and has the best flash capabilities as far as i can tell.

its looking like the android o.s is the issue. may30-june 6 used 1.50 gb…it says its background stuff. looks im gonna have to take it in…it tells me specific apps and what they are using…looks like the o.s is the main problem.

Well FF loads pages a bit slower but sites look WAY better and crisper in it. Goodbye Dolphin it was fun.

Today I learned that t mobiles new unlimited data DOES get throttled…at 9700gb. At first I thought it was 9.7 gb or 9700mb but no, its 9700gb aka 9.7 terabytes.

How did you learn this?

There was also a major thing a couple years ago about Dolphin intruding on people’s privacy.

A lot of people were on xda and sites like that trying to figure it out… and from what I remember, the findings weren’t good so it prompted a lot of people to ditch it. I like Dolphin, but between that and certain other things, I left it.

There were a handful of bugs in FF that I hated. Most of them are gone now. Plus the options/features available (and the ability to use add-ons) are godly.

I also recommend UC Browser:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.UCMobile.intl&hl=en

I used to use it a lot back when the logo was a cartoon chipmunk. Built-in adblock, incognito windows, save videos from websites, etc.
