Is it “Cuz racism” you guys can’t drop this topic or take it over to state of the world? Pertho asked politely.
I am loving this, Hillary is going to collapse if she has to debate Trump and stand for 5 minutes or better yet go full dementia granny on National TV in which the media will immediately go to break and then make up excuses about the bathroom.
using statistics doens’t make you racist. using statistics to paint an individual a certain way even after meeting and learning about the dude is racist. Nobody does that here.
Only when discussing social policy can you not use generalizations except when they line up with your agenda
I might even run for some minor office if possible.
I’m going to support third parties that I align with. I cannot stress this one enough. Bipartisanship as it is now is little more than brand dedication. Nike/Reebok Intel/AMD, etc. People who have no clue how important their vote is (AKA 90% of voters) will only consider a “name brand” candidate. They equate voting for a third party, even if they agree with most of their platform, as a wasted vote. It’s literally like buying an expensive name brand food instead of the grocery store brand even though it’s the same shit, label-for-label, in different packaging.
Actually, no it’s worse… It’s like buying the popular brand even though you know the company that makes it packages a tiny amount of shit into every 100’th package and the cheaper brand doesn’t, and what’s more it’s of even higher quality with healthier ingredients.
They’re literally choosing a worse candidate intentionally, out of fear that a candidate that they perceive as a more horrible choice might steal the election by a few votes. The entire time they’re missing the point that most of what each of the mainstream party candidates aim to do is exactly the same thing that has always been done.
Three reasons to vote for a third-party regardless of ‘election game theory.’
The numbers. Putting numbers behind a candidate tells their party that people want the things they are campaigning for. It provides for all those statistics that you guys love to spew so much, that prove that the party’s issues are important to the public. But they will only show it if people vote for them.
The numbers, part II. Taking votes away from popular mainstream parties shoes them that you don’t like what they are campaigning for. Maybe there’s only a few things you don’t like about them, though? How do the numbers show that? By not voting line-item, or along party lines. If popular movements actually reflected in the election results, it would provide statistics data to prove that issues like MJ legalization, infringement of privacy and freedom and others are growing concerns for some voters. But they will only show it if people vote for them.
Personal integrity. Okay, this one is kinda iffy, but it’s important to reiterate that your vote cannot be “wasted.” Just because there is a definite numbers game that can be and most definitely is being manipulated by politicians and political groups, doesn’t mean that you must play with those same tactics or else your vote is wasted. In fact, the opposite is far more likely true, that your vote is most definitely wasted if you use it only to stack votes for another candidate that isn’t your first choice.
In fact, assuming that voters will do this, is one of the very tactics that politicians employ to game the system! So you’re not being clever by switching your vote. Vote for the third party if that’s where your interests lie and what best represents you. Shiiiit, vote for candidates that aren’t even nominees if you want to! That sends a message. Imagine if all of Bernie’s supporters wrote in their votes for him anyway. He would not win, but the message sent would be firmly stated.
Don’t listen to people who tell you that your votes don’t count. They are the same sort of people who claim to be good at fighting games. Support your local candidates. That’s where big things that matter take off. Medical Marijuana and abortion rights really come to mind as policies that have been realized due to grassroots movements. Don’t let the big politicians control all of that. Get out there and make them show their real faces. Run against them, even if you don’t have a chance to win.
The only people who seem to think that black people “haven’t accomplished anything” in the history of the world are the same people who claim they aren’t racist.
I identify with those that do because I am often grouped with those that do even with a lack of a criminal record or history, simply because I don’t lack melanin. Tall black people, hell, any non-pale person scares the shit outta these pussies for some reason.
Non-racist whites don’t like being grouped with actual racists simply because they’re white, but eh, double standards and all.
Fuvk it, I’m done in this thread. Trump 2016! Make America whi… I mean great again! Git-er-dunn!
Blacks are put in a position to fail.
Just like natives in reserves.
Just like rednecks in trailer parks.
Nobody is being racist, just stating facts my guy.
Again… Your % to succeed in life is factored by your location and economic status. Because blacks were segregated into their own enclaves because they were still discriminated after the slave trade. And just like natives on reserves, it’s extremely hard to get out because you don’t have anyone to look up to or get support from.
Successful people from the ghetto’s truly have my admiration, cause I can’t imagine myself doing that.
This thread is closed until you bunch of numbnuts get that the majority of this conversation has nothing to do with the election. I’ll open it again at a later time.
