The Ameяican Government Thread

Because it is evil, morally reprehensible, and both ethically amd legally unacceptable in Western societies.

Whereas it is a taco bowl party, in Islam.

You know this.

Parades in America.

Parades in 8 out of the 10 most populace muslim countries.

NO EQUIVALENCY.

Christian’s don’t hate gays, there 80% of the population. Many do condemn there lifestyle the difference is they wont bake you a cake, but then hold a fund raiser to send you to conversion therapy and offer to take you hunting. It’s ignorant but it is not the same as cutting your head off. Yes there are the Phelps, who are a national joke and whack jobs but there is no organized efforts at all to kill or criminalize gay people in Western countries. It’s not true, there is no statistical or anecdotal equivalency at all and it is a ridiculous opinion to have.

But my point is that we aren’t better. Our government may not punish homosexuality, but it sure has tried to make them into second-class citizens. People also attack homosexuals all the time here. America really isn’t that progressive when it comes to accepting gays.

No, we are better. We don’t throw them off roofs, we give them all the benefits heterosexual people enjoy and pass special laws to protect them specifically and if you do as much as call them by the wrong name you are socially ostracized.

Even at it’s worst a service refusal is better than being lit on fire in front of a cheering mob. Stop hating America.

You realize this is all just recent, right? And it wasn’t even done by the states themselves. SCOTUS is having to weigh in because states are trying to legally discriminate against homosexuals. Shit, they still try to do it even to this day. I find it sad that politicians are fine treating some people like shit.

It is illegal here.

You go to jail for that, here.

The law says it is wrong.

It is diametric.

People aren’t the state, I am not in to the thought policing either. No where are they trying to sanction state discrimination. Their trying to shield Ma and Pa bible thumper from lawsuits.

Many people support, “I reserve the right to refuse service” and don’t care about the reason, I don’t like the commerce clause or support restrictions on private property. You don’t have the right to Freedom of Speech, carry a gun, or a right to service from a private institution. It has nothing to do with discrimination to me or many other people who support this principal.

But there is no organized violence against gay people in this country and there is no organized effort to criminalize them at all, it’s gone it’s over. They won, stop drawing a false equivalency to people who routinely execute them.

There isn’t some sort of Western Civ fairy magic that exonerates us from the same stupid savagery that permeates every other faction of humanity left sufficiently to its own idiocy.

Last US recorded public lynching of a black man was in 1981.

3,959 black victims are documented to have been lynched in the US between 1877 and 1950.

Last US public execution was in 1936. Do you know the reason we stopped holding executions in public? We were embarrassed that women had joined the work force sufficiently enough to end up in positions to preside over executions.

Maybe there’s no organized violence against them, but there are still organized groups trying their best to demonize homosexuals. Here’s one. There are plenty others but one suffices to prove my point, I guess.

None of which people? Muslims? You do realize, that being muslim is a question of religion that doesn’t have any racial aspect added to it, right? So even white guys can be muslims. I know Ali was one…sure he wasn’t that big into Sharia?
And I don’t really know, why you re being so aggressive. I have said very clearly, that in our countries the Sharia should never ever stand above our laws nor should it never ever be a part of our laws.
However I do realize, what the Sharia is and what it means to every single muslim who takes his religion serious. That is why I understand, that most muslims want to live after those rules. Here in our Western Countries they should be allowed to do this, if their rules don’t collide with ours. That’s called freedom of religion. It’s somewhere written in the first amendment of the US constitution, I believe…
However as soon, as the Sharia laws collide with our western laws, our laws win. No discussion there.
I also said, that whoever comes to our countries has to adapt to OUR laws and rules. Otherwise he can go fuck himself. However, what these people do in THEIR countries, is up to them. If they stay there, it doesn’t affect us.

Yeah, Im pretty sure, that someone who refuse to bake me a cake because I’m gay, will stop immediately to help me.
But that’s not the point. The point is, that hating, discriminating and even criminalizing gay people in the name of god is still common procedure in our western countries. Even attacking and killing them is not unseen, as the Orlando shooter has shown.
And Daddy Trump won’t be the cure, if he names a Vice President who openly hates gay people.

And about your statements regarding burning people etc. - as I said: If we go to the right places in our countries, we will find a crowd for everything: Killing gays, burning black people (well in Germany you could burn anyone who looks foreign, to please certain crowds), performing exorcisms on so called obsessed people…Sure it would be illegal, and the people responsible for these killing (and the bystanders as well) would be punished by the state (hopefully). But you certainly would have an audience for this kind of reality show.

  1. Sentencing a mass shooter to death and sentencing a promiscuous wife to death are 2 very different things. 1 is secular, the other is religious

  2. It seems every time Islam is under scrutiny, there’s this burning desire to bring in Christianity to attack it.
Religious nuts who attacked abortion centers are put in prison and must undertake real legal consequences here. Religious nuts who killed apostates/gays are released and celebrated as heroes over there.

  3. So you agree religion is the source of all evil, sounds like the perfect reason not to import more dangerous religious people into western countries until they have overcome their problems like we did.

These so-called more liberal Muslim countries, say Turkey, Indonesia, and Malaysia, still uniformly hate gays, large portion of them still want to stone adulterers, kill/jail apostates, implement Sharia laws, etc etc. The improvement is only marginal, even though Turkey and Indonesia actually have secular constitution.

Jesus gave no clear definition of what a Christian government should be like. Catholic church has no authority over all of Christianity.

Muhammad laid out clearly the structure of a Muslim political system to create Muslim countries. Saudi Arabia owns Mecca and Medina and builds and funds Wahabist/Salafist mosques all over the world.

The idea that Muslims are just like us is not true. Their idea of peace, their idea of raising children and having fun are simply coded according to their political system. We should put in more effort to convert Muslims out of Islam. I would rather have ex-Muslims over Muslims any day.

That last US public lynching consisted of TWO people.

Michael Donald (July 24, 1961 – March 21, 1981) was a young African-American man who was murdered in 1981 in Mobile, Alabama, by two Ku Klux Klan members. The murder has been referred to as the last recorded lynching in the United States because his two attackers hanged his body from a tree, in the pattern of mob lynchings.

Every Isolated attack in the U.S is not an equivalent of institutional cultural practices in the entirety of Islam. These are routine, daily, wide spread and state sanctioned.

They have no legal mandate.

Nor overwhelming social support.

They are allowed to be the hate-filled sacks of shit that they are, but that does not make them approved by society, nor does it make acting on such beliefs permissible.

This is anecdotal, but I still feel it’s worth mentioning: My job takes me to a lot of places. Sometimes I go places just outside of where I need to be in order to get the real feel of America. I do this in every country, really. I like the path less traveled as it gets me a better view of the people there. Anyway, there are a lot of pockets in America who support these groups. A lot. So they still wield power but not nearly as much. They can also influence elections for federal, state, and local offices. So yeah, it’s still a problem.

I was alive in 1981 kid. If you want to exclude the last one and restrict things to only those publicly lynched in relevant people’s lifetimes- about 22 people were publicly lynched in the US by the time Donald Trump was in his mid 20’s.

But way to attempt to spuriously deflect the conversation from the fact that the only reason executions in the US aren’t still huge public spectacles is that misogyny compelled us to move them indoors.

Considering schultz resigned from the end and now works directly on the campaign, the event is happening this week and there’s lots of wacky emails, I’m sure that there are better discussions to be had about this election other than whatever retarded form of government you think 3 dudes wanting to open a kebab stand in Missouri want to install in the US.

Sabato Jr is hilarious to me because he’s like, “I believe Obama is Muslim and I can believe that.” So we’re entitled to our own facts now? Eyyyyy.

Depends.

Are the kebabs Halal?

They are not huge public spectacles anymore because the U.S. society, for all of its legion of faults, has evolved past the point where such is deemed morally acceptable.

A majority of the U.S. doesn’t even allow execution, anymore.

The part that does, well… I blame Texas.

Now, let us take this into the shade again, and address the fact of those non-executed inmates being comprised of a full 100th of the population, mostly of colour, who are in actuality modern slaves for massive corporations, laboring away in prison camps, due to unjust and Un-Constitutional incarceration practices.

I support public execution, It used to be considered like Jury Duty, it was a civic responsibility to witness what you are part of. It encouraged people to pay attention to whether someone is guilty and take clemency seriously. The death penalty and criminal justice system needs massive reform, but the death penalty is necessary and beneficial.

Two racists killing one person as abhorrent as it is, is not the massive public lynching you’re purporting it to be and those racists were executed for it.

And I am deflecting, I completely deflect and reject the idea America, or Western civilization in general behaves in the level of depravity as Islamic states or their people. It is as ridiculous as dinosaurs are a hoax.

Cultural relativism is flat-earth stupid and I apologize for there not being a nicer way to put it.
**

If Western Civilization was not better, they would not come here.
If it was possible to live around Islamic people and their ideology they would NOT BE FLEEING THEM LIKE THE DISASTER THEY ARE and no one would be trying to keep them out.
**

They are fleeing to GET AWAY FROM MUSLISMS!! Why does this have to be explained?

Ask the question for one second, Why are they fleeing? Because they don’t want to live around Muslims because their behavior and ideology is abhorrent and they created a cesspool unfit for existence, and now they want to come to Western countries and continue the same ideology? Fuck that.
