Not all medical care requires a doctor, Liberal mandates require a doctor be involved even in basic treatments or medication requests. Everything right down to the most basic medical treatments requires a review and a prescription permission slip from a doctor.
Suffragette’s (women) when they were given the vote and implemented prohibition didn’t like the brick opium you could walk in to any pharmacy to buy, so they created a giant Bureaucracy to keep people from getting any medicine that works or might be fun.
They were successful. I need some medicine should not start with a $300 entry point to get permission from a doctor who has real health issues they need to be dealing with.
Pharmacists generally can handle this task just fine, no $300 permission slip required, no 3 hour visit. No over-taxing a limited resource.
