Besides Merkel did not say “Come to us” and suddenly people all over the world decided to pack their stuff and move to Germany. They were already on their way (often because of reasons that go back to the actions of the so called “first world countries”). I don’t know if you are aware of the situation in the Mediterranean Sea but it is in fact a catastrophe. Thousands of people including kids have drowned while trying to get to Europe. Every single day the coast guards need to rescue people from the water. And while this information is no secret, they keep coming. That might give you an idea of what is going on in their countries. In fact you might wanna think about what would have to happen to you and your country, before you decided to grab your wife and kid and enter a boat together with dozens of other people to cross the sea. And that boat is made for probably 10 people and was never meant to get offshore. Think carefully of how your circumstances would have to change before you would even consider taking these risks.
Yes there were and there are problems with all the immigrants. New Years Night in Cologne was a big fuck up and there is always stuff going on. And yes if the immigrants misbehave by harassing women or doing other criminal shit, they need to get punished quickly and in a way they don’t forget. If it was up to me, there would be a “first strike out” rule. You fuck up, you leave the country. Very easy, but unfortunately not really compliant with german law. And after all Germany is a constitutional state. So laws apply to everyone.
When it comes to the tax payer’s money that is being used to help the immigrants and refugees - yeah, that one you hear all the time. Goddamn foreigners taking all my money. Truth is, that so far NOT A SINGLE cent had to be taken from any other public institution in order to pay for these people. No social program has been canceled, schools did not have to close, medical support has not been restricted, roads are not rotting away etc. If there is stuff that needs to be done (and isn’t), it has been so for years. In fact the german government took in a surplus of 12.1 billion Euro (twice as much as in the year before), which is quite amazing considering the fact, that the immigrants use up all the money.
The only downside the good upstanding worried citizens had to endure is, that they could not attend to their weekly soccer/handball/gymnastics/yoga/whatever training, because the goddamn refugees were occupying all the gyms. Yeah, how dare they? 250 people living in a gym with 8 showers and 4 toilets. And of course when they left after a couple of months the gyms were all fucked up. Don’t they know how to behave properly?
So when Merkel said “Germany can do this”, she was right. Has the immigration been handled in a good way? Hell no. Public institutions reacted surprised and once they started acting, they did it in a really uncoordinated and unprofessional way. Refugees were forced to live in buildings that were never meant to house this amount of people. Also they were never allowed to work. So all they could to was sitting on top of each other, staring at the walls. Add this together and there is a good reason, why a very small incident is enough to start a riot.
But of course it’s not all “Aww, the poor people”. These people are guests in our country and I expect them to behave accordingly. That means that WE do not have adapt to THEIR life style. If they are not happy how we handle things, there are plenty of other countries that should make them feel better (I’m sure they passed on or another on their way to us). We eat pork, we drink alcohol and our girls like to present the merchandise. “No” means “No” and men and women are equal. So if you have a problem with talking to a women or think you are allowed to touch her because she is wearing a bikini top, than fuck of and go back to the medieval culture you came from. Allah is certainly not above the german law and if you wanna live here, you better learn the goddamn language.
Fortunately most of the people actually wanna adapt and integrate. You never hear about them. All you ever hear about is the assholes and those we should get rid of very quickly. There’s plenty of assholes in Germany already (starting with AFD, PEGIDA and the other Nazis), so we don’t need to import another batch, that doesn’t even understand their rights, when they are being read to them.
As for the numbers you present with so much confidence: There is 80 million people living in germany. In 2015 1,1 million immigrants and refugees arrived. According to Adam Riese that’s 1.375%. Im pretty sure you have some numbers that show how in 4 years 50% of the people living in Germany won’t be Germans.
This may be construed as a nose-in-the-air intellectual answer, but those blue collar workers should update their skills. I say this with a dad who has been a blue collar worker for nearly 30 years.
The kind of blue collar work that pays you well enough to own a home and retire comfortably aren’t even around anymore, at least not in the numbers they used to be. That all shifted to offices and even there there’s menial work to be done. Face it, with open trade agreements we really shouldn’t be worried about immigrants coming in looking for work and should instead worry about those jobs being shipped out to other countries. And even if we try to address it, I doubt we can put the genie back in the bottle. Corporations will always find ways to skirt laws and make shit cheaper.
That is complete understandable. However it’s not really a realistic thing considering the fact, that nowadays all important countries are woven together so tightly, that not a single one can survive on it’s own

Her accomplishments may as they be. Truth is, that she really knows, how to talk and move on the political floor - national and international. Trump knows shit about this. He thinks, he will get, what he wants by yelling and throwing fits. This might have worked in the pre-election campaign. But sooner or later he will have to face real questions. The presidential debates are coming up and so far, Trump has not shown, that he is capable of having a discussion that goes beyond insults, accusations, empty promises and lies. Problem is, that this guy is a Reality TV star. He thinks, that’s how it’s done, because it has worked for him so far. Cruz might have buried his political career at the convention, but Trump brought this onto him himself.
Nobody says, they are nice people. But Trump on the other hand is so self-centered, that he does not care about anyone but himself. And despite showing his dick to a government clerk, Bill seemed to have made a pretty good job.

Unless you want the standard of living to be lower they just won’t come back, and you can’t force companies to not sell to certain countries, and to not use cheap labor to make the products cheap for us. The cheaper a product is, the better it is for everyone. Would you want 2 dollar apples instead of .20$ apples if it meant someone go paid? Whats the point of it all. Far as I understand it, the one event where sexual harassment has taken place was Cologne. Was it proven that refugees were to blame for the molestations at the German music festivals and in Dosseldorf? Because I haven’t been able to find anything concrete about it.
