The Ameяican Government Thread

No, it’s obvious they don’t. I think someone got a gig as one of those paid Hillary trolls and happened to have an SRK login too.

For a “not many Johnson supporters” there sure is a lot of mentioning of Gary Johnson around here. By people who seem to be very interested in Gary Johnson. People who you might even say are actively campaigning for and representing him in a digital format. You might even call them “something that rhymes with exporters”.

I feel like k4’s sig should be a flashing “THIS IS WHAT CLINTON SUPPORTERS REALLY BELIEVE” like that Scientology episode of South Park.

The “any vote for Johnson is a vote for Trump” rhetoric is some bull shit cooked up by her campaign to shame anti-Trump voters who aren’t “with her” yet. This is what she has to resort to because she struggles with independents, a demographic representing over 40% of registered voters. The Clinton campaign has pulled this shit repeatedly over the election season, largely because she has even fewer devout supporters than Trump and all those “disgruntled voters” she planned on getting by being the moderate aren’t biting. It’s sad because, the Democratic platform this year is actually decent, but even those who are behind the ideals don’t feel Hillary will actually go by it. If she were to exit the race right now and the Democratic ticket was Milquetoast/Kaine (the more interesting one needs to be president, obviously), Democrats would win in a LANDSLIDE. But no, the party bought into this moronic idea that they can turn around decades of poor image and make Hillary palpable to the general public when she will never be. If Trump wins, it won’t be Bernie/Johnson/Stein’s fault, it will be Wasserman-Schultz and the party elites’ fault for putting all their money on a dead horse because the other contender in the race is an orange slug. Newsflash, Dems: Even a slug goes faster than a corpse.

Let me stop you right there. Obama has deported more illegal immigrants than the last 43 presidents combined. Hillary, for all her “soft talk”, is still going to deport MILLIONS of people by quietly continuing Obama’s policies. All Trump’s done is state up front what’s going to happen, and rally idiots behind a symbolic wall that accomplishes nothing. If you get past the “rapists and thieves” remark, a Trump administration would be BETTER for illegal immigrants by actively working to fix our immigration system (something Trump has said but isn’t repeated by the liberal media) and deregulating business. Johnson has this going for him too, except he doesn’t have a racism hurdle to overcome and actually wants to lessen deportations.

And for all your talk about “Johnson and Stein have no supporters”, you don’t seem to realize where their support is coming from. If the race was only conducted among millenials and hispanics, Johnson would actually win because he’s polling really well in those demographics. Following up on my previous post, that’s the real reason why Clinton is so unhappy about him: Johnson appeals to many people she expected to get for free by running as a Democrat. Instead of making a valid case as to why millenials and hispanics should be excited about a Clinton presidency, she wants to shame people into thinking she’s the only other option.

I agree the third party vote is not necessary a vote for Trump. It could be for Clinton. It depends on alot of factors.

As for the republican party gaining lead. I agree and I think the Trump support is the fact he has more enthusiasm than Clinton on the republican side. Also the fact that it is bipartisan political debate. In other words, most democrat vote democrat and most republican vote republican. Most election are close these past years and I expect the same in the next election since people tend to vote for the same party. I think Obama only won by 7 or 8% last year. There will be some changes here in there but it is very similar. You can even look at the past elections.

On the flip side, I think a better republican candidate would have been better since he is losing alot of the minority or non-white vote. I think this will ultimately cost him the lost. It will cost him that 1 state for victory. If Trump loses, I think it will have to do with the fact he didn’t truly support the minorities or non-white vote early enough. Right now it seems fake that he is doing so this late in the game. Think it is going to go 272-266 C like what most predict. A better more experience candidate would have wiped Clinton in a landside probably. They can show their experience and win over some of the educated voters on Clinton’s side and win.

I hate Trump but I can see reality of how it is. For better or worse.

All I gotta say in response to all that is: wait 'til Tuesday.

We’ll see how polls look after that first debate, provided she survives the ordeal and doesn’t lapse into either a coma, seizure, or some other fit after 90 minutes of constant attention without assistance, while being constantly derided by another person beside her the whole time.

That being said… I know it’s a pipe dream, as no one in control of such a decision would ever support it, but it’d be nice to see the debate poll prerequisites drop from 15% to 5%. Ya know, so someone else has a shot at speaking besides the big two.

39% of 324,227,000 Americans = 126,448,530 Republicans

(smallest percentage to define “most”) 51% of 126,448,530 Republicans = 64,488,750.3 borderline racist Republicans. that seems kinda high…

Caught me red handed. Put the math on my me. Should have said some instead.

not trying to be a jackass- i just think you are being a bit too emotional when you post. emotion is blinding. regardless of what type of trashy people side with Trump, you have to look beyond that. Trump has helped more people of color than any other candidate running. what makes you think that’s going to stop?

Trump showed up at the Louisiana floods when neither Obama nor Hillary did, and donated $100000 to a local church.

Admittedly, said church is anti-LGBT, and the media jumped on that, instead of the absence of the President and the Democratic nominee.

I won’t fool myself into thinking it was genuine kindness, but even if it was, it was still a good move for him politically.

Well I am not going into the minorities and non-whites issues against Trump heavily. But most don’t support Trump. We think he isn’t going to have our backs when times comes to it. We don’t think he is going to help us. His comments seems the opposite of what we need. This is above me actually but alot of others think that way. And Heck alot of others think the opposite. And there goes the tightly competitive race. This will be proven at the polls. Whether he wins or not. Check are the percentage of race proportions voting Trump vs Clinton.

It is a good thing the President doesn’t have as much power. Most of the power is in Congress which has both parties and the others. Sad that we can’t fix our congress as that is one of our core issues. I think it is corrupt to the point that no president can fix it. Bribes are common with lobbyist. 4 years is not long. We get the right person eventually. Very least Trump won’t do anything too dangerous due to our crappy Congress. Maybe he get his tax plan passed but his other wishes won’t pass.

I just wonder why minorities believe that dems have their interests in mind. Most of the populated democrat run cities have horrible minority problems. Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Washington DC etc… and yet after the constant failings of democrats locally and nationally they still keep on voting them in. Obama hasn’t done anything for blacks besides make the divide between minorities grow larger than ever. He’s done more for homosexuals than he has blacks.

Well it doesn’t help that some key republicans say racist-like comments publicly. Calling “Illegal Mexican rapist”. Blacks “are absolutely in the worst shape ever, they’ve ever been in before” as what Trump has said. We are expected to vote for him with these statements? There is a reason why he will get around 10-15% of non-white votes. Statement like this pissed off alot of folks. He wouldn’t stand to fight for us at all.

If he had refrain from such harsh statements like this then he will win the election in landslide since some non-white people would have voted for him but alas that is not the case. We are more likely to not vote to republican. This thing even goes back to the Bush era.

Out of every Mexican arrested in the US, how many are illegals? Genuinely curious, as I couldn’t find the answer.

Cuz welfare & rhetoric. The professional & recreationally outraged want knee-groveling pandering and Republicans aren’t going to do it or put up with racism allegations for telling the truth.

Minorities can’t blame Republicans for shit, Democrats have had a whole sale monopoly on stewardship of minority communities for the last 50 years… and they done great (smiling, pandering and telling them exactly what they want to hear, not what they need to hear).

Republicans make the mistake of thinking they should talk to minorities like they do everyone else, when they are expecting to have their ass kissed.

Best Trump racism Debunking video ever.

I’m just lurking to see how many people move to Canada after Hillary gets in.

Just tired of the Republican party always having some guy that has to label everyone by their color/culture and generally acts like a clown. One day the Republican candidate won’t be a complete clown.

Like you said though, it’s mainly congress no matter who gets in.

It wont be many because Canada has had Trumps “racist” immigration policies since the 80’s, it’s why it’s nice and they wont be taking broke liberals.

Mexican isn’t a culture or color, it’s a country of origin that does intentionally send murders and rapists. Just like Cuba did in the 80’s best known described at the beginning of Scarface.

but these things have been proven! how is that not true?

imo this is where the big disconnect happens. people want politicians to suck up to them for votes. immoral people running for office will do this knowing full well they won’t fulfill the promises they made, so it’s up to informed voters to check their political records. Trump doesn’t have a political record so an informed voter has to look at his record in the private sector. Trump has over 20,000 employees worldwide. he employs Muslims, Mexicans, women, gays, fill in the blank for whomever the media tells people he hates this week.

when you employ someone, you are giving a person the means to survive. the means to feed themselves and their family. the ability to stimulate their local economy so other businesses unrelated to the employer can thrive and prosper. would a misogynist/Islamophobic/racially intolerant person do something like that?

Trump isn’t telling people what they want to hear. he’s telling people what they NEED to hear. medicine doesn’t always taste good, but it helps.

Okay so if the GOP is the party of the Rich and Dems are the party of the poor. And it is in both interests to get as many to their side so that they can get in power aka GOP getting as many people rich as possible, and the Dems keeping everyone as poor as possible (getting and keeping people on welfare to be dependent of the government). How is the GOP the worse party? I mean sure if you don’t like money, don’t like having power and control over your life then yeah GOP sucks. But can’t people see that if the GOP truly is the party of the rich, then the GOP would want at least 51% of the populace rich to continue to win elections.
