The Ameяican Government Thread

I hate the “can’t say illegal” movement, but he’s hardly unique in that respect. Johnson is probably trying to stay on good terms with the Hispanic community.

Retired cop rescued a baby locked in a car.
When news channel interviewed him, they blurred out his Trump t-shirt (not in live broadcast, but every other rebroadcast)

Why is a “free” nation allowed to go unpunished for jailing its own citizens when they refuse to serve the interests of the military-industrial complex and ruling classes of the USA?

At least America is the 2016 Olympics Champion…

Why should a country be punished for enforcing its own laws?

Don’t vote for Trump or Clinton. It’s funny how the presidential system is a semi dictatorship because only one of two parties can win. Fvck that!!!

Because the laws are morally wrong and protect the rich and powerful, not the innocent. That is unacceptable.

So the innocent capitalist south Vietnamese should just lay over and die to the communist north that kept on trying to take over the south?

Another country’s internal politics should not be our business. Foreign countries don’t get to police a country unless it violates international laws.

What’s morally wrong with conscription? Why should citizens not be expected to take up arms in defence of their nation if required (inb4 Vietnam is another country - no shit, that doesn’t discount conscription for homeland defense).

Ali signed up for the draft on his own, he didn’t even bother trying to pursue an exemption. There were ways and means of getting around the draft legally, but he wanted to be special. Never mind that he claimed war was against the Quran (lol). Then he had the audacity to bitch about the white man not sticking up for him.

He knew what he was getting into, he knew he was breaking the law, and you claim that the US should be punished for convicting someone who committed a premeditated felony.

The Vietnam War had been going on since 1955; he’d had many years to know that he’d be called up for service.

He was a draft dodger, not a conscientious objector, despite what he claimed. You couldn’t just call yourself a conscientious objector, you had to justify that shit back in the day.

Is Genocide violating international laws? Because if it isn’t, that’s fucked up.

Vietnam was a weird case like korea. Bad shit happened, on both sides, but the US got involved to support french interrsts first and foremost. Everything else was secondary

The last time defense of American soil was…“required” due to a large-scale conflict was when the South rebelled. What’s the USA’s excuse for all the times that it forced its citizens to participate in wars for fun and profit since then?

No. Like all nations, the US only protects its own interests as a general rule because that is what’s realpolitikally expedient. They just so happened to have common cause with France that time around.

What about Iraq and Afghanistan…

There is no excuse. It shouldn’t have happened.

That’s what you get for trying to play World Police for the last 100 years.

I leave the topic for a day and you niggas are arguing about vietnam. Fucking vietnam. Wuf.

Looks like Trump will even out or surpass Crooked Hillary in the polls before the September 26 presidential debate. I’ll be impressed if she can even hang on. Trump has no scruples, he will say ANYTHING to humiliate Clinton. Dis Gon Be Gud.

Iraq was a outright lie to generate , amd afghansatan became and a waste when we decided to build a country ran by backward as retards.

Afghanastan had a legitimate purpose of aiding and abeding bin laden, and they got wiped out. staying there and supporting that backwards ass bullshit regime that was proped up after wards and american lives wasted defending that shit.

Trump visited a black church to talk about discrimination even tho he discriminated against blacks trying to rent from an apartment complex he owned. He settled on the case

you will say yes to anybody that asks you out on a date?
