Unfortunatley no, but there are bubble butts.
And yes, Last Blade 2 is very broken… but it is still such a well executed game.
And is Tobal that game where there was a different mode where you ran around in dungeons fighting monsters and stuff?

Yeah the first Real Bout is great too, everyone is so broken in that game it ends up being balanced. Lineshift is pretty dumb though, it only seems to work as an unblockable setup from my experience.
Line shifts are probably best used as offensive option… but there are better RB players than I(like socal MOW dudes). Rolling into background when knocked down is a good option though.
Power Instinct Matrimelee and Rage of the Dragons are pretty fun even though theyre broke as fuck and its really easy to do powerful shit.
How about Samurai Shodown V Special? Really dig that game. It continues to perplex me that few people play it. It’s balanced, easy to pick up and play, somewhat disturbing fatalities, variety, etc.
Agree with Last Blade 2. It’s in my Top Ten, it is an outstanding game, but stupidly broken.
Mindarms is kinda disappointing. The game could of had unique combos with some of its system attributes like voltage burst and stance canceling, but MA’s strict recovery system, and the fact that most characters have shitty air juggles, kills any potential combo creativity. It is possible to do longer, more “intricate” combos, but those ones are broken infinites and aren’t flashy at all.
Also, because of the fact that characters have bad air juggles, it’s better to back off of your opponent and let their recovery bar restore, so you can attack and land another combo that will take a third of their health (every character has 6000HP in the game). That’s just silly.
I’ve only played this game like twice with people online, but I think it doesn’t play anything like Marvel. Pretty much, if your character can do genuine resets, then they can do infinite combos that don’t scale, so there’s no reason to do resets at all. Some characters can rushdown fast and have tricky high/low mixup, but the movement in Marvel is much more flexible overall.
I think you’re the only other person who thinks RB1 was the best of the Real Bouts.
RB1 has some lameness though, mostly with an easy Geese infinite (I’m pretty sure it’s banned). If they had fixed that and used RB2 super motions it would have been the best FF ever.
I’d kill for a RB1 remake, it’s the one SNK game I’d buy site unseen these days.
to each their own, imma casual FG’er so you know more on the subject than i do, oh and i would love to get online to work but i have no idea how.
also is there anyway i can play Hokuto No Ken without importing and making my Ps2 import-able?
IM me and I can help you out, most likely. I’m not an expert at it, but I’ve managed to successful help people play the game online.
If you were around when the game was released, you could’ve enjoyed some HnK in the tri-cites. Game used to get some play from time to time.
HNK is available on DEmul an Atomiswave emulator. Sound issues aside, it’s 100% playable.
