Post your many encounters with the almighty Tekken Scrub, and tell us what went on in the battle of skill vs mashing. Did you teach him a lesson on pressing buttons, or did you get scrubed out?
When encountering the scrub in their natural habitat, I find the best thing to do is to prioritize defense and spacing. A lot of scrubs will throw out launchers because they know that they could potentially land a lot of damage off them. For this simply block and punish. Other scrubs may employ a lot of lows, low parrys will discourage them. After a few punishes/parrys, you’ll find that a scrub will only have practiced straightforward offense in training mode. When the scrub realizes you can counter their abuse of certain moves, they will do stupid things. This is when you move in and hand them their ass.

 You know, despite how frustrating Tekken can be when you’re losing, I have yet to have someone ragequit on me.
Well, that’s not true, only like two ragequits, but still I’m probably up in the 20s on ragequits in Persona which is weird.
Touché Emil, Touché.
I haven’t had many ragequits to be honest. I think I’ve had 3 at most. I may have had about 20 in the first week of vanilla mvc3.
Using counter after every blocked string.
