you can set your lineups for the week ahead of time. one tactic in fantasy baseball is to keep your hitters to a minimum because of the stats you lose when players on the bench and instead carry an extra pitcher or so. it’s still early so anything can happen.
Ouch. BJ Ryan and Glaus on the DL, Reed Johnson probably out for the year for surgery.
One good thing is that we got Lind up now, and his numbers last year in Double A, Triple A, and the call up were just as good if not better than Alex Gordon’s. Maybe he doesn’t have the toolsy profile that scouts like, but this guy can hit like a motherfucker. Sad that it took an injury to Reed for his opportunity, but this could end up a good thing for us long term.
BJ and Glaus though…just not good on any level.
And having Chacin/Ohka/Towers as your 3-4-5 does not scream playoffs to me. If I had to guess, Zambrano’s going to slide in there somewhere by middle of May or June…though maybe not for Towers. He looked good against the Tigers, and wasn’t all THAT bad against the Royals - he’s bouncing back!
Though Towers bouncing back to form is still just bouncing back to #5 level.
But I think Chacin’s funky delivery isn’t going over so well the second or third time around the league, and he’s only got average stuff at best. And Ohka hasn’t looked good at all yet. Though even if he was 100%, he should still only be the #5 guy - I’m bummed out John Thomson didn’t work out, as he was my best bet of the three.
Zambrano is looking good so far, though he’s still only throwing at like 88 - probably a couple weeks left in the pen to get everything back.
Ah, Jays. Injuries again.
I guess all this adversity is just going to make winning the World Series even sweeter when October comes around.
Gonna see Dice-K get FUCKED UP TONIGHT
Don’t mess with the Daisuke.
OH NOES! He gave up 2 runs in 4 innings already! $100 million for THIS bum!??!!?
He panicked in one inning, he is the real deal tho. His curveball is disgustingly good.
damn angels, can u score more than 3 runs in a game please!!!:annoy: :lame:
I feel kind of bad for Dice-K…well for what might happen to him. I know it’s still early and it’s still cold but the red sox have and that lineup have given him five total runs in his three starts. It makes me think of Clemens when the 'Stros gave him no damn run support…on another note, this is the cover the japanese version of 2k7…

Go White Sox!
May I ask what the hell Manuel is thinking moving Brett Myers to the bullpen?
Fucking truth…well deserved win for the southsiders!
He’s taking stupid to a new level.
ryan howard is being shifted to SS and rollins is going to play catcher next game
MANUEL <-----
two bad starts and hes now in the pen. i know he volunteered to be moved to the pen in spring but they said no, so why do it now, basically taking their ace and making him setup gordon? at least john smotlz got to close…
and i drafted him to be a starter not setup man! :wasted:
Several White Sox players have flirted with no-no’s before and I’m happy that somebody finally got it.
Rich
Motherfucking
Hill.
Of all people Luke Scott comes through tonight. YAY STROS!!!
I’ve been worked like a dog the last couple weeks. I finally get two consecutive days off. Now I see I was offered a trade over a week ago. Dammit. Now I have some time to go over my roster and do something about it.
Oh, and A-Rod is playing like a beast. Shin Goku Home Run Level 3 sumbitch.
hit all the homers you want a-rod…well take the win…we got that brad lidge effect on rivera
The Cubs are a game and a half behind the Brewers in their division. I know that division sucks, but who thought the Cubs would be in the running for a playoff spot?
I did…
But anyway, I love the pickup of Gagne by my beloved Red Sox. As has been said by many people, many times. The Gagne-Okajima-Papelbon combo makes it so that, in all likelihood, if the Sox have the lead at the 6th inning…they win.
