He doesn’t think SFIV would make money? Even foos who don’t even play fighting games, were psyched about a new SF game. Shit, it’s SF, the name alone gets people nostalgic enough to plop their money down to try it out. It’s also being played competitively in MASSIVE numbers right now.
Compared to what? Putting Vampire Savior in a cab? Or how about the 3S/KOF 2-in-1 cab? What about when Hokuto No Ken was put in a cab for a while?
That arcade should be less concerned with having an arcade filled with lots of different titles (obscure and not) and trying to be a mini-Arcade UFO, than spending all the hard earned time and money into games that people ACTUALLY play.

That setup would be completely logical and fine. You know when something is up with your choices when the Scandia Regulars (and some of Sonoma’s Best Players) would rather drive 2+ hours to MGL/South Bay (as opposed to 10 minutes) than have to deal with the BS.
KOF 12 is 50 cents to play, or 2 credits on your card, I forgot how that works. And Blazblue is 60 cents to play? WTF! yeah. This “new” game they are charging more for, because its “brand new” of course once the continuum one comes out, we will still hear that the “new” game is being played at scandia. Its a joke, I haven’t gone there in 6 weeks now and counting

Can’t speak for spanky or DS, not sure of them, but basically the old scandia crew, Me, Tony, Joe, Jaime, Alex, Randal, Travis, Wen, Luis, nobody is playing that game. Jhi plays it very rarely, I mean very rarely. The confirmed ones I know that play regularly: Hong, Fu, Roger, Makara, dude from lan tourney hahaha (forgot his name)
I haven’t been playing many games in general, but when I do turn on the Xbox, it’s either SF4, BlazBlu, MvC2, or VF5.
I would love to throw down on SF4, that game is hot.
I still play 3S more though. I love that game, no matter how trash I am.

If you have nothing on the schedule for Saturday you should definitely come out.
I know a handful of the Marin folks (such as myself) are coming out.
So far I know Los, Jose, Myself (and my g/f) and Hooman will be coming out.
I think there was also a Sagat player from the East Bay who said he was going to come out in the Tournament/Events Forum.

Not sure about the rest of the guys, but I should be there around noon for registration. The venue is literally a 10 minute drive or less from my house.
Definitely come out on Saturday in San Rafael if you aren’t doing anything. It’s rare when we get a North Bay Tourney, so we need to support peezy with as many players as we can get to roll out.
Let’s make sure the North Bay has a decent showing of it’s players! It’ll be fun
