SFIV, SFHD and now Blazblue are now all on console. Scandia needs to wake up or wither and die.
When I heard at one point the tech at Scandia put CVS2 on 1v1 mode, I almost died laughing. On top of all the random maintenance on the sticks/buttons, the moving around of games physically and in different cabs, and so forth, I can’t keep forgetting how little Scandia gives a crap about the local players.
Sure all the FG cabs combined don’t make nearly as much there as the crane machines, the ticket machines, and all the DDR type games, but if I remember right it was not that long ago all Friday/Saturday nights were poppin’. I remember first meeting you guys years ago when the FG cabs were all in one aisle, super tight and shit was off. Then they were moved into a more spacious section all by themselves and every Friday/Saturday night had a fat gathering of friends, new players and spectators. Hell, I even remember climbing on the CVS2 cab after a scraped out a win against Ray Do Something.
It just sucks to see an arcade where I met most of you guys (all of whom I have made close friendships with) and most of the SC Crew is almost a mockery now.

im pretty sure hes still useing SA1 but the last time i played him was on CVS2 when scandia still had it.

Blazblue is lots of fun, but I’m still mad addicted to SFIV. Probably not a lot, but I’ve clocked about 150+ hours on it already.

man stopped by scandia last night, they changed hella shit around now the fighting games arent all together anymore MK3, 3S, SC2, are apart from the ones on the big cabs. and shit is still bumping on kof 02 they had like 12 guys playing. To many new games out for me to learn that one
you gotta go to scandia more, been like that for a while. I was told “whenever” a tourney is decided on, to run KOF 02, and it would have 40+ entrants. Tech wants us to run another tourney, he loves those things, and said he would put the machines on tourney mode and 1 coin for sure.
oh yeah frank, tony loves blazblue, he bought it first day. golfland crushed my dreams of that game. just not interested in it now. happy 4th sonoma county
40+ entrants for kof i doubt it. they arent even whiling to do a quick $1 dollar round robin tournament while there was 10 guys there. and they arent down to play the regulation kof 02 they only play PLUS
Yeah I stopped by Scandia too last night they did change hella shit around round like you said they moved the pinball machines into a circle thing and I almost thought they got rid of third strike but it was stashed in the back in nowears ville. SUPER GAY there

Blazblue is fun. I bought it on release thinking it might magically make me put down SFIV. Thing is…SFIV is like crack.
Those games were too fun. I’m always down to play if I’m not working early the next day.
I hate adding fools to PSN who never want to play anything if you send them an invite, or ask them if they are down to get some SFIV matches in.

I just bought a TE fight stick so I can dual mod it for PS3 as well. I will make sure to bring that. Should I bring my homemade stick as well cuz It just got xbox 360 capable and I changed the feet so it wont slide around!
