I love some 2D fighting and live ins Santa Rosa. It would be nice to get together and play some SF at someone’s house. I cannot host but I can bring 2 arcade joysticks and a Labtop with fighting games loaded to the house Partays.

asianxore: I see your in Novato? So am I. I am wondering, is there any local scene in the north bay for SF4? I like the game but hate the online and would like to play some folks offline. I am up for gathering in Marin sometime. I have an AIAB, a EX2, and a TE for the 360 and an almost lag-free TV for SF4 if anyone wants to play.
In terms of Marin there sort of used to be. I used to play a lot with a handful of guys I met at my last job. Their main game was T5/T5DR but they dabbled in GGXX, 3S, MVC2, and so forth. Then they all just stopped throwing get togethers and everyone really stopped practicing/answering phone calls (DRAMA!)
Most of the North Bay players that are still left either play at Keystone, Keystone Light or are all in Rohnert Park/Santa Rosa/Petaluma area. Scandia sorta died in Rohnert Park, so none of us really go there anymore. We’ve been trying to all get together again for console/in-houses but all of or schedules are so varied and nothing has really gelled because of it. Doesn’t mean we all still don’t have love for each other though. I’m always down to hang out with the crew up in SR to play FG games are they will always be good friends of mine.
Are you able to host at all Los?

Thanks for the info, man. I didn’t think there was much Marin action. I’ve heard a rumor of a guy in Marinwood that either has or wants to start some sort of local tournaments. I’ll post info on that when I have any. As for me, I don’t really like/have the time to travel. Marin is pretty much my boundry at the moment.
I had a couple friends over this past Sunday afternoon/evening and we had fun. We talked about making it a semi-regular thing. I would be down to have a couple people come through then. Thing is, is it’s really limited to Sundays, maybe some Saturdays, right now. Also don’t have too much space so I couldn’t see having much more than 5-6 peeps. But,yeah, I’m down to host within those constraints. Go Marin SF scene!
