Other than hanging out with all you guys, CVS2 was the main reason I drove up to Scandia. I’m decent at GGXX but I always enjoyed how many people played CVS2 up there.
As Terry mentioned, why would CVS2 be more expensive to maintain than any other of the fighting games there?

cvs2 makes literally no money from what im told, only a few notches ahead of tekken. i still think, from what i’ve heard, it will be back, but for how long, unless coins start going into the machine

i’ll talk to chris tuesday and see whats up. he doesn’t work sundays or mondays. right now with UMK3 and rival schools just put up, im not sure what machine it would go in, maybe the golden axe machine. i guess its a wait and see.
I may be used to so-cal sticks, but the 1st player directional on MVC2 is shiiiit. you can blame the ddr kids, when they lose they just start hitting the machine, if you see that, smack them upside there head, remember, this is our machine, sonoma county, lets take care of it

Could the learning curve on CVS2 be the reason it doesn’t make too much money? It doesn’t seem as “DDR Kids” mash-happy friendly like some of the other fighters at Scandia.

I’d be up for Thursday something or other. Let me know if I should PM you or something. I also have a PS1/2 stick, so hopefully that will alleviate any stick shortages. I charge a $1,000,000,000 rental fee, though. By the minute. Or round. You know, which ever one is shorter.
I have two MAS sticks for DC (CVS2 and MVC2) that I can bring whenever any of us come by.

i think about it this Thursday i not sure if i have to go to work… if i don’t have to work i’m in.
Because i’m lazy and procrastinate and I knew i’d be lazy and not contac anyone earlier enough.
I want to get word out early enough for people to plan and whatnot. Sp please, guys, let your crew know so we can get a decent showing.
And it’s always cool if anyone wants to just drop by and get some games in, so if you can’t make it Thursday, post some time you can. It might not be a big crowd but at least you can get some games in on another day. I’m always down. Shake is usually around and it’s not hard to coax Rivival into a skill demonstration.
So yeah… Thursday. I’m thinking of starting sometime after 6:00PM. I don’t work that day so earlier is coo but I want to givep eople time to get off work.
