I know a lot of people wanted XX Slash to be Double Elim. Would be something to consider for the next tournament. A lot of people signed up for XX Slash, hopefully even more will come next time.

gosh i havent played Cvs2 for hella deep. those 3 days where the first time after almost a year ive played well not a yr maybe 9 month.
to clear things up, guilty gear slash was only $1 and single elimination because i was there from about 2pm on, and there was not one person at the guilty gear machine till about 5:15-20. I told frank more then likely there would be no guilty gear tournament, but then abe and his crew showed up 7 deep to play slash, so it was on.
This man speaks the truth. I was surprised that all of a sudden at the point we had a huge list of XX Slash players. It was sort of spotty when sign ups started.
Also I got your message this morning. Team “2-on-2” for CVS2 would be fan-fucking-tastic.
so everything holds true, the next set up should be:
Saturday, February 9th.
no start time has been setup, i told tony to talk to the tech to put the date in stone.
3 games would be played 1 on 1: guilty gear slash, mvc2, and 3s @ $3 entrance
CVS2 would be a 2 on 2 team tourney, once again no losers bracket, but at least you have 2 chances to survive. $4 per team. pot would be 70/20/10
a 5th game would include $1 tekken 5 winner take all tourney.
the start time would probably be at 4pm.
none of this is confirmed, but more then likely, this is what will go down.
and any of you with photoshop skills, lets get a flyer for this one. the tech chris said that if we email him a flyer, he will print it out, put it on the machines, and on the entrance door at scandia.
i would agree having a flyer around scandia will attract more people, even people who just comes to scandia from out of town they will see it and try to join it. i know for sure there is a lot of tekken players out there that will join it. And that 2on2 team will be interesting to have.

I’m glad though that everyone is so active with getting Sonoma County tournaments together. Keeping people involved definitely helps the SC scene from dying out again.
what about tournaments for games every 2nd saturday of the month? me and tony have been talking about that, and the tech seems cool with it
