Yeah I see no reason why they would just Remove something from him that makes him strong after all they have said.
I have heard that he has his old chain combos form Alpha, so a nerf of the hands may be to balance that out. Also that geezer has like 8 ultras!
And I find it funny that the community put so much stock into one mans opinion based on a old build of the game. There are people on this site who actually think Capcom is nerfing the third strike characters based on a freaking podcast for chrissakes!!!

Yo Dan, so I got MVC2 on PSN since it was $7.49. Do you guys up in SR play with it on 4:3 or 16:9? 16:9 feels really wack to me.

That’s awesome shit you got there Harrison but one thing. I think soon as you have a chance, give Bob a call, run it by him and just make sure he’s cool with us using his business’s name for stuff. Bob is hella chill so I’m sure he won’t mind, but as a courtesy we should just ask him and make sure it’s cool.
Thanks Spanky. I turned off all the filters as well as the input to low (so it’s 1 frame as opposed to 3 that I read on SRK) but I’ll have to throw 4:3 on and see if that changes the wonkiness.

Input should only make a difference online. Input lag will be there regardless if you’re using an HDTV, but otherwise, the game feels pretty spot on to me. It’s a little buggy, but Backbone’s ports are never bug free. The online play is solid though and training mode is really great if you have a stick at home.
