Hey guys, now that CapnSpanky and Scandia Rohnert Park are having local tourneys and stuff I thought I’d make a thread for them to do their local discussion, and so it doesn’t get confusing in the 707 Tilt thread.

We have a few of these at Scandia. Also, tetsuye, it was really cool and all that you made us a thread, but we already have one…
i was gonna go to the tourney then i saw that it was only 3 doller entry and it was still being split.
Sorry, just haven’t seen it. I saw the tourney thread, but that one is a little hard to keep track off. I close this one off though if you don’t want it around.
I’ve been to the Scandia a few times. Only once I have caught anybody who was willing to stick around and play though. I went last Saturday evening, and nobody at all was there. Very few things more depressing than driving a short ways for MvC2 and then nobody else is there. :sad:
And then on top of that, the tourneys seem to be held at a time that’s deliberately designed to keep anybody but the locals from showing up. I’d like to show up, but I work in Emeryville, I can’t get up there by 5:30 on a Friday. Yet when multiple people from out of town ask the time to be moved to be more friendly to anybody but the locals showing up, we get silence. 
jion whats good? haven’t heard from you in a minute. i dont know about the other thread, its still here, now there are 2. but nobody from sonoma county posts on srk, they all post on the local site
as far as people playing, the only time you will find competition is on fridays, ask jion_wansu. nobody goes on saturdays. And about the tournaments, we needed to pick a time and day that would be able to draw the most amount of people. I apologize for the out of towners, i didnt’ think there was that many that actually would go out of there way to play in RP. It was only the 2nd tournament that scandia had and we doubled the people from last time, so it is growing in this area. we had 29 people for 3 games. 16 entrants for SFIII, 10 for CVS2, and 9 for MVC2. the next tournament has been confirmed to be a saturday but the date is not set.
Hey, does this mean that there is no Fight Night Tourney on Friday? I was planning on dropping in (CVS) and know that at least 2 others were going to come, the winner from Tekken, and an MVC2 player.
there is no tournament scheduled for friday, however there will be more people than usual because of grudge/money matches that are spilling over from the last tournament. were you at the last tourney?
No I wasn’t able to make it to the last tourney. I’d like to come to one of the next ones, but my work schedule in San Rafael keeps me busy. We’ll see, maybe I’ll just swing by for a bit.
i work in RP sometimes, so if cvs2 is working and peeps want comp, let me know. but im warning you, no scrubs please, jk ha good luck yall
