He had his cursor on Dudley, and usually when the player isn’t Rank 0 and I feel I can win the matchup, I’ll pick anybody else but Chun, just so happens this time I picked Hugo; and then he counterpicks.

Not giving a fuck during the first round is part of what makes this matchup fun and for the most part winnable. 
well, had he picked dudley, i wouldve either picked sean/hugo/remy. the point is that i would’ve picked one of my alt characters if they aren’t high rank but this guy counterpicked me, simple as that

No, don’t equate their actual skill level to their rank. What I usually do is(except very occasionally) I’m going to think the next guy playing me is the best player in the world and try my best. Then feel him out. If he sucks, then I’m in for a treat I guess. :V

Also an Ibuki fared way better before me @ the Iron Galaxy booth, so I had to switch it up, on badcatz TE, not win or lose in 10 seconds with Ibuki. (UoH anti air what am I doing?!). Quite a feat… just went ahead & lost in 6 secs with Ryu & Remy instead.
I end up picking my character first like 95% of the time. a lot of dudes in ranked will wait for you to pick before they move their cursor. So I guess sometimes I get counterpicked and a lot of times they probably just end up playing Akuma or Ken like they were going to anyway. Maybe they don’t wanna get counterpicked themselves.

ahahahahahah I want to give myself credit for that one but I don’t think it was me. I do that with anyone that decides they’d rather wait the entire round a la kuroda or are attempting to counter pick. I usually pick a character I know I’m really strong with, rather than a “counterpick”. I still don’t understand this.
I decide on what character I will play while I’m waiting for the character select screen to pop up, then immediately run to my character and select as fast as I can. because I’m a trooper. I figure it shows confidence. the ladies like confidence.

Anyway only notable for the demon setup I managed to land at 1:40 ish. Don’t know if it’s guaranteed ( I think it can be jumped out of maybe) but it looks really cool
I believe Makoto could’ve jumped out of it if the Makoto predicted kara-demon. However, you can see the Makoto mash a throw, meaning boom, free demon.
