I think I’m too parry happy, but the offense the guy mounted seemed soo easy to parry. Like that spin thing from necro, cr.jab repeat. Don’t have the timing for parries down yet though…Anyway this game is awesome.

I hate to break it to you, but that’s the wrong unblockable setup on Necro. You have to do a dash-up HK Tackle underneath him in order to connect properly into another setup. He recovers too quickly for that particular one, and to be honest I’m surprised that Necro didn’t fly back to your side of the screen from the Tackle pushing him into Aegis.
One thing I recommend not doing vs Necro is a lot of random cr.HPs and Tackles. I mean it was okay for now since that Necro didn’t know any better, but against one that knows what he’s doing, that’s a free reversal Electric Snake.
Yeah =( I just hit the Urien section and found out about that, and later on he could block after the f.mk which obviously meant it was not worked (or I was fucking it up).
And thanks for the matchup insight. I’m still lost on frame data in this game…for instance I’ve no clue if tackles/headbutts/cr.hp/sweep are punishable or not. I definetly have to look that up. Also I spend way too much time trying to do the headbutt partition from backdash, jump, headbutt lol
You don’t need frame data to see the recovery on those moves is a millennium.
You’re doing too much stuff. You rarely ever need to jump with Chun Li. If you are going to jump against Hugo just do air throw or neutral jump HK. That’s all you really need to shut down Hugo air to air. When you’re on the ground just stick with b+HP or close s.HK if he jumps in on you. Otherwise walk forward with s.HP and c.MK
