well idk how to explain it, but somehow I feel yang and chun are similar…
embarrassed? losing to a better player is never embarrassing. we have had other matches after this that I won majority of, but his yang and yun are his best characters and try playing him yourself to see what I mean.
okay. real talk.
I played ryan some games the other day. we tied ryu vs necro 1-1. his Q beat me 0-1 and he beat me a bunch of games with yun vs necro, something like 8 or 9 to 2. most of them he beat me pretty good in, but we had a few close ones as well.
his spacing is outstanding.
his parrying is on point.
great genajin setups.
his combos are on point.
he is also a better player than me. it is one thing to play competitively with yun, but another to be on that level with someone like Q.
both Nica and ryan have a great understanding of 3s and put a lot of time and devotion to it (it was actually fun seeing them fight) and both guys use a bunch of characters well (whereas I am only good with Necro).
it was nice that ryan actually wanted to play some games, and rather I have earned his respect at 3s or not, he has definitely earned mine.
if we played first to ten at evo he would take my money and probably do it with Q to boot.
but for the rest of you guys talking shit on me, well…man up and beat my ass, otherwise STFU already.
edit- and I find it odd that losing to players as good as ryan or Nica KO is considered embarrassing all of a sudden. I certainly never thought of it like that.
