Sorry not doing any non Facebook sign ups. This tournament is kind of a half tournament half 3S junkies promotion. You can just make a quick facebook account that takes like 2 seconds with a fake name. If you do that I’ll invite send you a friend request then invite you as a guest if you just want the quickest, least hassle entry.

I might think about IRC depending but I’m going to try everything through Facebook first. When you click on the main 3rd Strike Junkies page if you’re a member a chat window will pop up where you can talk with anybody that is online from the group. Like a makeshift Facebook IRC that shows people’s pics and stuff.

Otherwise I’ll just have people post stuff on the wall and then people will friend each other once they are in brackets and just make smaller friend chats where they can relay info.

Hey this doesn’t really fit the current tournament format and it doesn’t look like you’re streaming it, but if you ever decide to use challonge brackets and do individual games, then decide to stream it, I wrote a plugin for the XSplit streaming program that will pull and display challonge tournament matches and players in a 3rd strike themed manner. If you ever need it PM me or something, hopefully Min will be using it for his Skillionaire broadcast this upcoming friday so you can see what I mean. It’s probably a lot easier to do it your current way though if you don’t plan on streaming it.

Ok so that pretty much confirms the only other thing I wasn’t sure about. That means that whenever an event is made it only sends out invites to people who were members before the event was made. It doesn’t seem to auto invite any new junkies so I’ll just send you a guest invite.

I don’t really feel bigger brackets are too necessary when people don’t really play tournament mode much any way unless it’s a mass scheduled event like this.

Thanks to all that attended. Had about 40 percent of people not show and didn’t realize tournament mode wouldn’t start unless you had 8 people in the bracket. Caused a bit of issue but tourney was single elim so it got handled pretty nicely despite.

I’m aiming to do a double tourney thing where I’ll probably do something on Thursday to test running things through challonge brackets instead of the tournament mode which obviously is way more hassle than I thought it would be. If that runs good (which that should be impossible to not run good) then we’ll follow that up for Saturday also as long as no major is happening.
