It still sounds like a braindead version of CvS2 CC to me.

KOF doesn’t have the air dashes, but everything else KOF2k2 or KOFXI would be to your liking. They’re my least favorite KOF’s though.

nah ill keep bitching and moaning till the shits the way it should be. meaning the shit plays as good as it looks. thats all.

also this is srk, not braindead forums, right? whats wrong with super pauses and advanced hard to do combos that take every ounce of skill you have to make them connect and work. the more you are capable of without breaking the game, the better IMO. so the next thing id like to see is supercancels and perhaps even, yes im gonna say it, ex moves. but what good would that do without multiple superbars? dont know, maybe they can have it so that when your bar is full a more special version of the special move than the normal one comes out. just tossing in some thoughts. as the superbar runs empty by itsself anyway.

p.s. for some reason the rushdown style of previous kofs seems to be lost. maybe cause of the lack of moves and supers and super bars? it plays more dead now, for some reason the threat of missing some moves is gone. dont know, havent played it so cant really judge things tthat arent so obvious (unlike the superpause, which was obviously needed very bad).

either way what do you guys think about it? at cf theres a thrread where you can write down some ideas for improving the game. ima check out the rest of the vids to see what we can think of. if you got some good ideas, bring it on.

Meter drains WAY too fast. Even though throws have whiff animation and are two-button inputs, they seem to do pretty good damage and ticks seem to be closer to SF. From the third video, it seems like corner crossups still work (3:51).

CCs needing meter is an obvious change, but I’m glad it’s that way. I guess they made them not use meter in previous builds for the same reason that they made supers use no meter before.

I think the game is starting to look good, even though there are a lot of things I still don’t like (for example, Ash clashes with Andy’s AA and manages to punish him back in one of those vids :confused: ).

on a different note, ash might have an infinite possible like the old iori one. his light can connect to his f or b + B. the b or f + B can be linked to a crouching B. what else? lets wait for the newer loketest and what else they casn think of.

Hmmm, it seems that when you do a DM by itself, there is no pause. But when you combo into one, it does.

Which is really weird since he was able to move during the hand twirling before it.
