Case closed. And there’s nothing wrong with using a reference. Especially when the end result is so fantastic :woot:

I liked that tagging is out… Not because of some “this isn’t real KOF!!1”-reason, I just liked it better without. What was the point of tagging except to make longer combos anyway? It’s not like those not in the fight would regen or something. And do we really need longer and more complicated combos? I prefer less focus on memorizing combos and more on the other stuff.

Damn…that’s even less than KOF '94. :confused:

And I suppose that there are no longer teams of 3 (unless there are 6 teams + 2 single entries)? :looney:

20 characters sounds pretty good as long as they are good characters.
SNK hasn’t revealed any new characters yet (as far as I know) but they will probably be badass too.

Was anyone really expecting a big roster with an entirely new revamped everything? It’ll grow over the iterations that come to follow. 20 is fine.

I wasn’t. I expected the roster to be small. That’s why I said don’t sweat it. Let’s see what happens in KOF XIII.

20 isn’t fine. It’s acceptable but not fine. The reason being KOF always has a well sized cast. For years. People have gotten used to it and expect it.

A/B/C/D wakeup after knockdown? Like Garou? Or was that added in a KoF after 2003, I haven’t really been paying attention to the games.

Probably console versions will have some more characters, and don’t forget the bosses. I need more female chars, 3 are not enough :slight_smile:

If one’s definition of “good characters” equals “standard characters who have appeared in myriad other titles”, then, well, this game is right up there with CvS1, SvC and SFIV. Five (?) more slots to fill, some of which may well be reserved for moldy oldies, er, fan favourites such as Mai, Geese, King or perhaps K’…?

Well, they published about 4-5 versions of the story of what KOFXII’s graphics will be like, so it was hard to not to be right with one of them… :rofl:
