The 2nd KOFXII Thread (debuting at AM Show in September)

Ive seen it canceld straight into Galatica Phantom and it seems to counter wire if it lands properly. I think thats the move they use in the AOU trailer

If true then it being able to combo, cancel, and counter wire would make it far from useless (which is what I think BBH above said when he referred to his qcf+P move).

didnt ash have 3 dm’s? fireball, sdm charge and kicks.

game looks nice enough but the play seems to be a lil dead compared to say, 98. the games lacking too many things just from viewing. XIII will totally shit on this cause the bitchass motherfuckers from snkp made it this way. only 1 dm for most? command moves missing? lots of special moves missing, check. they add all the in XIII and a few extra characters and you got this kof played out for ever. what will be the reason for playing this after XIII gets released? seems like not a damn thing. while i still play 05, 97 and 98 every now and then to this day. i just done think it will be the same for XII, at least from the look of things now. ill still be buying it though.

guys thx for the vids… i’m freaken jealous… so far i’m loving what i see… game feels smooth and plays very nicely… and i’m still stuck on who my third is going to be… goro still seems higher tier than clark… as always but clark is still the man… 2 things i am wondering about is…

can goro do his anti-air punch d/f+C? to roll then air grab with hcf+A??? and…
seems like clark has a new animation for the last hit of his DM… can i PLEASE get a clear video of this???

Yes. Ash does have 3 DMs. I figure it’s the same command as before which is why no one has done it in a matcn.

That’s not much of an argument, out of the entire nests saga ppl only play 2002 regularly. Not like this is only with SNK, same thing with Alpha 3, CVS2 and 3rd Strike.

True, there may be too many characters and the balance is out of wack. A lot of things could go wrong (like people still swearing with SFA2gold over SFA3 or 2nd Impact over 3s)

I dunno sounds like fun.

Anyway, do you think Goro wil be used more now, I’ve heard that a lot of players doubted his ability in the past. I mean since he now seems better than Clark maybe his popularity will pick up.

Wanted to say thanks to all the people playing this a Oregon for the info I only have one request if possible. Can you guys test to see if Kim has his stomp cancel still? I probably doubt he does have it though. Besides all that keep up the good work on the info. :tup:

goro was always better than clark… by theory cause of better anti-air… better grabs… lots of different situations to apply them… more range… more pressure game cause of his roll… hell goro’s jump B beats almost anything in air… not to forget his counter and counter DM… where clark only has had one grab… shining wizard later on didn’t make up for his anti-air BUT clark still beats goro and does better than him… surprising!!! i’ve always used both but never felt so confident with goro as i did with clark…

so anyways 2 more questions…

^Well, tbh Clark’s always that special something.

Amen to that! I wish he’d be a console exclusive but I doubt it. I absolutely love him, he’s my favorite SNK character next to Clark.
