I can’t wait for any arcade near me to get KOF XII so me and some top northwest players are going to Japan at the end of April to play the game.

That arcade is known for the high comp in all KOF games, KOF98UM and KOF2002 is still being played a lot there.
I’m sure KOFXII will be available around the time it’s release, usually a week after due to shipping and stuff.
I’m personally hoping for Chinatown Fair in NYC to get it as soon as it comes out so I can get some playtime on it before the console release.

I want this game so bad. but I don’t have a 360 or ps3, I guess when I save up enough I will get a ps3 for free online play and the usb controller ports will hopefully make things easier.

That would be epic in an odd way. Ash probably isn’t leaving the cast, I’ve noticed they usually keep the main heads through each saga (Orochi Team, NESTS Team) I assume the hero team will get the same treatment (since they didn’t introduce many new chars this saga)
Iori doesn’t look horrible, but I too would be against a permanent change. We’ll have to deal with it for XII and XIII (since it will be part of the trilogy)
Just not to piss Iori vets off, they’ll prolly include original Iori in the console version. (he is farely popular)
from the looks of my grab team is complete… clark, goro & raiden… i don’t like how raiden looks like a moron but he is the only other grappler… besides that i might use ralf, iori & benimaru for a non-grappler team…
Look at some of the recent loke tests. These seem to be much faster than before. Besides that, I think you’re picking at straws; at least for me, the “feel” of the fighting always is the deciding factor for me. (You gotta have some quality time first) If you end passing it up, it’s your loss.
Well, I can understand, but there are a couple negative factors in watching the available videos. For one, a lot of them are from before they sped the game up. Make sure you aren’t watching anything earlier than late Jan/Feb 2009. Also, 99% of the videos are of pretty clueless players, or at least ones that haven’t come to grips with the game yet.

Nice link Dandy and it seems Iori is quite fast in this one. Oh well, like usual tons of people will pick him I guess. He was always like the Ken popularity wise with the guys I played usually and I bet he gets his flames back or in later games an alternate version like Kyo often has had.
While watching that video … Can Terry not cancel his crouch HK into a special anymore? Also is the rising tackle a charge or dp move in this one?
Nice Iori vid Dandy. It’s looking like he’s going to have a great pressure game here. (Seems to be playing a lot like Freeman) The only thing that worries me now is that his AA looks very unreliable atm. It’s also gonna suck that he’s not going to have 8 Bottles of Wine anymore. Loved that move.
I just find it awesome how SNK can take an Iconic character and actually drastically change his moveset.
Imagine if they took Ryu’s hadoken or Ken’s shoryuken away in SF , 
Btw, that Iori was monster.
I did like how in MSHvSF, Ken had a big change in design (mammoth but short-range fireballs, angled hurricanes on the ground, unfuckwittable DPs).
