Actually you can’t
The PS3 is still region encoded. It’s just that for Blu-ray, the US and Japan are on the same Region code(Region A). So people often say that it’s Region Free because they don’t have to mod their system to play anime games anymore
but it’s not true. There still are region codes and the US and Europe are on two different ones for blu-ray. So unfortunately you can’t import Battle Fantasia and play it on a US system
Bluray movie Regions have nothing to do with the games. Games can still be region locked (JPN, USA, EU; not the Bluray Regions) but it seems noone cares anymore and releases their games region free.

Anyways, enough of me spamming an already badly derailed thread. I’m out until I have anything useful to say, which I suspect will be a while.
In terms, I would’ve love to see Vanessa and Gato in this one but maybe in KOF:XIII
Its for the sake of getting the game out. They built it up from ground up to look this good and have only just been able to put polish to the playable versions recently. They fit as many of the major sets of characters as they possibly could, but now just hope that the next game comes out within the next two years and they are able to increase the character count again to include more of the usual cast and maybe some actual new characters.
Hopefully SNK is currently working on the characters to be added in KoF13, that way we can see the cast increase by at least 1/2 of the current roster
This game is lookin good, but we need a finish to the Ash saga that isn’t half-assed :looney:
P.S. I still think Betty is gonna be a secret character

Well, they cut off the character total at 20 for the arcade release… who knows if they’ll keep brewing out hi-res drawings after XII hits the sticks. We may have a few extra characters for the console release.
At least we can dream.
