The Gamers Network wants us to have a tourney there i need to give them a call to set it up wont be till after august since we are having a cod and halo tournament at the end of this month in merced prob mid september ill keep you posted. if anyone wants to travel to merced you are all welcome to come play some casuals just give me a heads up

What’s wrong with using the gamers network as a venue to get off the ground? I realize they charge some money, but at the very least, that could be a way to check levels of interest in a neutral area.
I think the gamer’s network is probably the right choice for this point in time. Where else could we get a set up like that, even though there is a fee? Maybe another place for casuals, but for tournaments, TGN is probably the way to go.

I’d rather have my own place for casuals & tourney’s. Having it at The Gamers Network is like having your birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Yeah its your party, but you gotta follow their rules & regulations. I wanna have something a little more community driven, where people can bring their consoles and games.

I got a place in mind. But i’m going to have to talk to the owner. Or work it out with my friend who’s dad’s uncle runs this resturant in stockton. They have a nice empty big empty room we could use. Maybe i can work something out with them so we can have some weekly casuals/tournaments there.

waddup stockton players. Has anyone tried playing casuals at gamer’s etc. in stockton? They have some console stations setup and i think it’s like $3 per hour. I know a few people that are down to play if anyone is interested in having some sessions there.

yea for sure. until that gets set up though does anyone want to play at gamers etc. this friday or saturday? it’s only 3 bucks. if a few people drop on a couple hours its not much per person. im tryin to get in some offline play this weekend.

I’d be down for a Fri. session, (got a bachelor party Sat.), 3 bucks is nothing. Get in some games, meet the locals, figure out where we can get some casuals going. They have systems there right? What do you have to bring? I’ve been to tournies there but never a casual session.
i called up gamers etc. and found out that it is $3 per person. There is no dlc, but they have the disc for ae. $3 per person is kinda lame. If people are still down to play there i’ll go and if there’s a lot of us maybe we can work something out with the owners for future sessions. The store has been pretty receptive to the fg community so far.
I can host something tonight for people who are interested.
