they should demand a doctor to check everyone’s legs at Leaveland. Dejounte Murray just beat them. No Manu, no Kawhi. Just LMA/Dejounte and Tony 40 years old Parker coming from the bench
there are people out there that think lonzo is better than kuzma and the only reason why kuzma is leading the team in scoring is because he’s coming off the bench.
kuzma is a star, but the focus, attention, and resources on getting lonzo accustomed to the nba is seriously distracting from kuzma’s growth. literally have someone who is ready for the next level of the NBA, and a lot of lakers fans are okay with making him take the back seat him so lonzo can grow.
its not even that i think lonzo is really going to be that bad in the long run, but him and kuzma aren’t great, and clarkson/randle/kuzma has been one of the best lineups the lakers have had consistently all season.
Lonzo has a different game. Lonzo is more about distributing the ball and making others look good, I think that gets overlooked because of his families ego.
That’s why LeBron wants to go join the Lakers. He knows Lonzo will feed him.
The Lakers are way too young right now. They do need some sort of veteran guidance. I’m not sure if LeBron will be enough to whip this team into championship contention. He wants a point guard that’ll feed him the ball instead of him doing most of the grunt work in Leaveland. But he wants championships. If he doesn’t care about championships and just wants to be a stat chaser, he should go to a team that has a point guard or a team that thinks about passing first, second, and third.
LeBron is toxic. Most superstars are. But he’s always had a twinge of undeserved arrogance due to the media crowning him a “king” before he was even drafted.
Kobe was an obsessive asshole who was largely ignored and overlooked due to the talent around him in his early days, Jordan was humbled by losses to the Pistons and Blazers. They earned their douchey ways.
LeBron has always been surrounded by yes men and dickriders from day one. He’s gotten coaches fired and teammates shipped out. He never takes real responsibility for his team’s shortcomings or his own mistakes, and slathers his every word in a disingenuous coating so thick, you’d think he were running for office.
It’s that extra bit of arrogance and lack of humility that makes LeBron just that much more unlikable than the average star.
People still talk about him. Some people worship him and others love to hate him.
No one talks about guys like Hakeem Olajuwon. Back to back championships, revolutionised the post game and was one of the most dominant players in an era with gods like Jordan.
Why don’t people talk about him?
African immigrant with broken English. Muslim. By all reports a nice guy. No one had issues with him on or off the field, he was just a decent human being.
