It’ll be harder for voters to leave him off this year b/c it’s no doubt he should be there. In previous years you could make a case that he should make it, but this other guy is just way better. Outside of Steph, Westbrook, and Harden, is there another guard in the WC that you can definitively say should have a spot over Dame?
Also: B/R posted a nice trade that Cleveland could make, landing Kemba, Batum and MCW (someone here’s fav player of all-time). They’d give up JR, Shump, Brooklyn pick, Osman and Frye - essentially starting Charlotte’s rebuild. Kemba is a nice get, but the golden goose in that trade is Batum. They need him desperately.

Doesn’t CP3 have better numbers than lillard and on a team with a better record? If anything Klay or Cp3 will get in over him easy.
I can’t definitively say either Klay or CP deserve to be in over Lillard. Klay has Curry and KD running interference for him, Lillard is the lead guy on his team. CP missed a significant amount of time. There’s certainly an argument to be made for all three, but I feel Lillard has the strongest case.
BREAKING: Charlotte is making Kemba available in trades. Cleveland needs to go ahead and do that Bleacher Report trade. Kemba and Batum would be huge improvements over Smith, Shumpert, Frye and Osman. Throw in the BK pick and suddenly Charlotte has 2 lottery picks, plus some cap relief in the near future for their rebuild.
I’d love for the Sixers to grab Kemba, but all we’ve got is the Lakers or Kings pick to offer - unless they’ll go for a combination of the pick, Saric and Fultz. I’m not sure I want to give up on Fultz though.
I would give up Fultz in a heartbeat for Jenna. Jenna makes them a playoff team and a threat in the east. Joel can bang with anyone. Ben Simmons is a stat stuffer and Kemba can score with the best. Hell I would try to get Malik Monk too since they aren’t using him. If anything the Cavs need to get Dwight Howard and Kemba. I would give IT Shump JR TT and Fry for Monk Kemba and DWIGHT.
DWIGHT is a rim Presence and can score while getting rebounds. Kemba can take the scoring load off LeBron. Malik Monk can shoot 3’s and run the floor. They NEED to get younger so you get 2 young athletic players and a ton presence. They better pull that trigger.

He hasn’t played and his shot is fucked. I would take Kemba and attempt to win now and at least for the next 4 years. I could use Melba up til he is 32 and then replace him for someone else at that time and still be in the hunt for rings.
Something is still wrong with that shoulder. His shot wasn’t this broken in the Summer league and the beginning of the season.
The team isn’t being transparent. According to Brown, it’s all in his head at this point. He said dude is great during practice until he has to shoot. They think it may be anxiety. Apparently he wanted to change his shot during Summer League because he was concerned about the 3-pointer distance. Unless something changes, this looks like a redshirt season.
I still don’t think he was the wrong guy to draft since we needed a combo guard in the worst way, but I hated that Colangelo traded to move up. He should’ve held firm and dared Ainge to take Tatum first. Somewhere in this or the old thread I remember posting right after the trade news hit and I was worried.
Cleveland wants DeAndre and George Hill. Both would instantly improve their defense, while Hill can run either guard spot and contribute on offense. DeAndre would allow Love to go back to PF.
If they want to keep that BK pick, IT has to be involved.
EDIT: WOW, Cleveland wants Lou Will too lol. JR and Thompson would be part of the package. I can’t think of any deal CLE could offer to get Lou and DeAndre without including the BK pick. May have to throw in IT as well.
