Lonzo looks so much better when he is pushing the ball. He needs to say fuck it and get on some Westbrook shit. When he gets rebounds and pushes the ball he looks amazing. Hell when the Lakeea are hitting he easily goes from 6 assist to like 11. Tonight he was driving to the basket and making plays. It is simply in his head right now. He is his biggest weaknews. When he overcomes that shit hei s gonna be the NBA all time leader for most Triple Doubles. Lonzo is gonna average 2 or more seasons of that shit. It’s coming.
Mental weakness is extremely difficult to overcome in any sport. Think about how many studs in different sports who encountered some kind of massive chokejob or cracked under immense pressure that were never the same after falling short. The fact that Lonzo is showing these cracks so early means that it’s going to get worse before it gets better, if it gets better at all.
Anyone is gonna show cracks in the NBA when they shot isn’t falling and aren’t benefiting there team. It doesn’t last long in his case since he does tend to let it go and move on. He has had 2 triple doubles in the last 5 games. Hell most rookies don’t even get 1. Lets just see how the season pans out. I personally think magic and company are loading him on minutes to get him used to the NBA. I think next season is when they expect him to do damage. 14 games in and Aaron Gordon is still shooting 46% from 3p range. Him, Oladipo and Drummond are easily the top 3 most improved. Drummond best center in the East, no question now.

The only Centers I’d put above him right now are Boogie, AD and Porzingis (if he plays C). Here’s the thing though - he has the potential to be better than all of them.
Porzingis prolly won’t play center till very late in his career if ever. He’s way to good of a jump shooter for that.
