Looks like yuck mouth should have spent his time telling his kids the horrors of foreign jail instead of his normal nonsense. He better hope the Chinese love for basketball and kobe gives them some leeway.

They are already out on bail, Lavar does need to shut his mouth.

Damn that is some stupid shit to try, especially on foreign soil. They should have just hit up a market for reasonably priced fakes.

I went to Cuba last month and was scared shitless of fucking up some obscure law and being thrown under the jail. I probably researched all the ways You can piss off the Cuban government for 20 hours leading up to my trip. You couldn’t pay me enough to even act semi foolish in a foreign country.

Teams that can use Monroe and make a huge impact on their outlook if/when he’s bought out:

Cleveland- they need alot but getting a good rebounder who can defend ok would be a start. Cleveland would actually make the most sense.

Boston- they need a rebounder who can score. Clear upgrade over the mountain they have in there sometimes. He also is a really good passer.

OKC- this seems like a good fit. Could play the 4 as well as the 5 and wouldn’t hurt them defensively too much eating minutes from Adams and Robertson.

Golden State- Zaza is trash and signing Monroe would make that starting lineup about as perfect as you can.

Wizards- not an upgrade over Gortat maybe but I would run those two out there together and just eat all the boards. Both guys can pass, and Wash got some shooters. Also any player that can help facilitate with Wall, especially since he’s been so bad is a plus.

Houston- although after Paul and harden there isn’t much ball left and he kind of doesn’t do the garbage work as well as what they have, with Houston always around the perimeter having an inside guy who can pass as well as he does is a plus. Also when you take a million 3s it’s never a bad idea to have a really good rebounder on the squad.

Ironically Memphis could use Monroe because they need a low post banger.

TBH I thought maybe the Cavs would have been the team to land Bledsoe: they’ve been doing so poorly that I felt like they were not going to bother waiting for IT to get better and make a run for Bledsoe instead, maybe for the Nets #1. It would have been hilarious if they gave the Suns IT. “You thought you could get away so easily!? WELCOME BACK TO HELL!”

Last I heard the Suns were looking at Okafor, possibly using Monroe in some way. I feel like the biggest areas of need right now for the Suns are at the 4 and at the 1. This Mike James guy is playing great ball right now but we’ve already seen promising players regress this year (Chriss) and it could happen to James as well. As for the 4, see the concerns with Chriss. Bender has stepped up his game and is one of the best defenders on the team now, but he’s not at the level where he can be a reliable starter for a team looking to raise morale with some wins.

Len has been playing great basketball lately and now that Watson isn’t there to pull the rug out from under him like he did the last time he got hot, I hope he continues to improve.

Booker is Booker, the Suns needs to commit to building around him. I think a lot of the Bledsoe problems came about when it became clear that Booker was the true stud of the team but Bledsoe didn’t see things that way.

At small forward, TJ Warren has stepped up big, especially in that Wizards game, and is now our #2 option. The jury is still out on Josh Jackson for me: this guy was supposed to be a sure thing but I haven’t been impressed with him.

KP getting some rest tonight. Second game of a back to back where the second leg you are traveling across 2000 miles. I’m all for it, season to damn long for the pace they play anyway, whatever they need to do to keep the guys healthy.

Dougy McBuckets picking up where he left off yesterday. The French Prince is starting to urk me though. He has no confidence in his shot he has wide open drives and forces horrible passes.

Wow, fuck you too, you cunt.

Not even 3 minutes in and the Heat is already torching us. Smh

Lost to the Warriors a couple nights ago, they’re desperate for wins.

Lakers fought back, that’s what you want to see. Kuz and Brook had a off night, they will be ready next game. We gotta go at least 2-2 on this road trip.

Boston is really rolling right now.

This rookie class is dumb af. Deepest draft in years.

Kyrie is on a new level. We came back and put up a good game but seeing kyrie just dance around everyone on our team was beyond impressive.

And I actually liked how lonzo played. Not as hesitant as he was.

i’ve been saying it since i saw he was on the market, i would love to get Greg Monroe here, the fans would embrace him quickly being he is a “throwback big”…we just lost Zbo so he’d fit right in…then we’d have a big we could run low post with to switch it up w gasol and still have the new attack of the young guys

Any one of these billionaire team owners could afford to build their own stadium, yet most either only contribute partially, or none at all, choosing instead to demand public assistance under the threat of leaving. Jeffrey Loria screwed the city of Miami out of $2B for a stadium he could have easily contributed to, but was too much of a greedy shitbag to. And now he’s not even the owner anymore. Jerry Jones is probably the only one (that I can think of right now) that paid a significant majority of the cost for his stadium from his own pocket.

That’s what happened. Kronke bought the team strictly for the purpose of moving it back to LA. It’s why he instantly rejected the first offer the city presented him and cut off all negotiations. He wasn’t interested in an offer, he just wanted out ASAP while pretending to try and stay.

MSG corporation paid 100% of the gardens upgrades in NYC. Only team I could think of that covered 100% stadium cost. They are a weird exception though since unlike most team ownership situations they are a publicly traded company.
