If you told me at the beginning of the year that the giants would be a clusterfuck of an organization and the knicks would be a fun and surprisingly good team, id ask you for another shot of whiskey
Lakers frontcourt is starting to turn heads. Ingram looks more comfortable now and he’s playing more under control, he’s not Durant tier yet but I see flashes here and there. Brook is so solid man, that 3 point shot has been on the money last couple of games. Really frustrates the defense having to step out on him all the time.
Kuz is real that’s what I’ve been telling everyone. Those “summer league stats don’t matter” statements–I was just  I knew this kid would be something. Also, Randle and Clarkson have been tearing it up off the bench.
I read that Melo play as him wanting to reverse layup but ran into Nurkic in the air hence why his arms “went into” him…you can’t convince me that was pre meditated
I would demand that refs uniform. On some Lavar ball shit I would just take the L and leave. You really calling a flagrant on that shit? Nigga there were worse fouls than that being committed. Hell how Melo get ejected but Mike got to stay im the Saints bucs game? Like who is training these refs?
“There are two types of flagrant fouls in the NBA: Flagrant Foul 1, in which contact is considered unnecessary, and Flagrant Foul 2, in which contact is considered unnecessary and excessive.”
It’s obviously subjective as a rule, but don’t think it has to be on purpose for it to be flagrant. And if you don’t think melo was a little extra on that “layup” I dunno what you tell you.
Yeah Melo could have just layed it in, what got him was instead of jumping to the rim he jumped toward Nurkic elbow first and it was considered a non basketball move.
so he jist needed to let nurkic come across the lane and gut his shot? you have to absorb the contact and then contort in someway to attempt the layup thru the contest of the big…contact is unavoidable. you’re right “unnecessary and excessive” is subjective, but I mean…you cant move your arms without making contact… then its in the grey area…“excessive” is usually done with intent whichbi don’t think he had…maybe intent to make the shot thru contact or to draw the foul…which to me is a basketball play
Except offensive players jump into defenders all the time to draw and 1s and fouls. But you never have anything positive to say when it comes to melo or anyone anyway so why argue Lolol. Foh with a flagrant 2 especially after Russ got hit in the head and that was a no call/no review. Shit is weak af
I’ve given up on Winslow. I have to keep reminding Heat fans that he’s 21 and needs time, but then you see 21 year old Devin Booker (who we could have drafted instead of Winslow) and it’s just not a good feeling.
