The 2018-2019 NFL Thread: What will Goodell screw up this year?

I have a feeling the Redskins will get Haskins. :expressionless:

Maybe, honestly thought he was the best QB prospect. I figured the Giants would take him. I don’t see what is special about Daniel Jones.

I actually was in on Jones but I started to like Grier. I would like them to take Sweat at 15.

Sweat got health concerns with his heart. That makes me wary man.

And boom goes the dynamite.

Seriously Rosan is going to be a Pat for like a 2028 8th rounder.

Cards war room walls has like 200 holes in it.

Watch Haskins light up the Giants this season.

Oh well. The Skins may go wide receiver in the second round.

Are any receivers worth a 1st round pick in this draft. Combine warriors don’t count.

Maybe Hollywood Brown from Oklahoma. I actually like Neal from Arizona State and Hakeem Butler from Iowa State.

Quick reminder that I’m a Lions fan. Well I’m not that much of a fan anymore but picked them some years ago and now I’m stuck.

In case something good happens next season, please don’t accuse me of joining a bandwagon. Because LOL that 10-6 season was totally the bandwagoniest.

My old boss and current region VP is a Lions fan. One of my coworkers called him 8 Mile sense he was white dude from Detroit

The Heir Apparent for Jason Peters, I’m cool with it. We needed OT depth.

Jason Peters is like the Jordan Reed of tackles. He always seem to be hurt. Not surprised you guys are looking for a young tackle.

The difference is when healthy Jordan Reed is only a little above average at best. Jason Peters is arguably the best LT in football when healthy so it’s generally worth the headache. Lane was supposed to be his heir apparent but he proved too valuable at RT and Vaitai is…okay at best.

I disagree with your assessment of a healthy Reed but I have the same view of both players. It doesn’t matter how good they are healthy because they never are.

I think that’s 100% fair which is why they draft Lane to begin with. We had the Heir Apparent, Peters just lasted FAR longer than expected, he realistically should’ve retired around 4 years ago.

You got your wish man. They snagged Sweat.

He might prove to be better than Preston Smith.

I would hope so because Smith wasn’t that good. He was a physical freak with subpar production.
