Apparently he injured his hamstring at promotional event that wasn’t team related. I guess that was the last straw.
It’s the fact that he apparently lied about where he hurt it, and he was on an immensely short leash. Though honestly if he had told the truth he likely still would’ve been cut.
It doesn’t sound particularly like he relapsed, mainly because they probably test him vigorously for that. The Josh Gordon sweepstakes is about to begin and I hope a squad with a good SUPPORT SYSTEM gets him and not just a squad needing a new deep threat. He needs a place that can make sure the man stays clean and mentally well.
I know the Chiefs don’t need Gordon, but I would take him if the price is right. One more speedy WR for those big dick throws never hurts, especially when you need to score 40 points every game to win
Honestly any team should take a flier on him. It’s post week 1. So his contract wouldn’t be guaranteed. If he screws up, you owe him nothing.
That’s what worries me. When it comes to taking him in it needs to be beyond just taking a flier out on him. Because if you aren’t willing to deal with the tribulations with keeping him on the straight and narrow, sure it’s no loss to you since you can cut him but it fucks with him even more.
It is either the offensive line players or the coaching but Watson is getting hit way too much.

Bucs did work, no shame in losing to how they played. Happy that the Eagles were able to fight back considering the multitude of injuries and the big deficit. I’m content.

Seriously I will give the offensive line credit, they did good in the second half. But what was Watson thinking that he had the time to throw that pass? He had the time and space to run out of bounds on that final possession and get them enough time to at least go to overtime.

My brain vs my heart right now… Been burned WAYYYYYY to many times to buy in fully that my Bucs might be legit and a potential wild card team. Onto Monday night vs the Steelers who want to get in that official win column.
