i would love to but chances are very slim
and it’s a shame : i really want to take part in a CC tournament before the next zombie apocalypse hits
but yeah…looks like both my 3s dreams aren’t going to come true

finding the remaning '03 ~ '05 guides won’t be easy (or cheap)
i think the CC ones are even more obscure and harder to find

Has HULIC been confirmed as the venue?

EDIT: Last years venue was Nishi-Nippori Game Spot Versus, so if it’s the same venue, it can’t be HULIC.

In past years game versus rented the top floor for the event. Now the top floor is occupied by a darts and billiards bar. So it might just be at regular game versus on the 3F. They will have to move some cabs tho. No way a 100 ppl can fit in there.

i am aware it was held @ versus last january [see first post]
but i mentioned a venue because there was this bit on the cc site and it definitely was about the 2012 edition and the kyushu team
it was in japanese of course but i am 87% sure about my translation ; let me quote it again

ok,i arbitrarily added the “trail of blood and tears” part [my translation for ドラマティック if memory serves me right] but everything else i did see and read with my own eyes
that bit got removed when they updated the site so i can only assume something went wrong with their initial plan of renting that particular venue ?

it’s crazy to think that currently ochibi is probably the “weakest link” in there

i think yun 5 part 2 will definitely happen.

KO, SHO, Saru, Nitto, Bagoon, GAO, Issei, Kowappa, Moto, Terubou just to name a few. there are more yuns out there and its highly likely that there will be a 2nd yun team especially since they had a 2nd one last year.

the biggest question is, will kuroda participate in pre-coop or coop?!

Last year’s co-op was probably my favorite. The team I was rooting for actually won, that’s pretty rare. Koshun’s victory vs MOV was one of those all time great moments, along with his “did you see that!” pose afterwards. I felt for Riki, but the gyakuten from roshi and that group victory hug at the end was a long time coming, RX’s pals are the greatest.

Really excited for this year although I was expecting Ushi to grow out of his Yun phase. This guy is so fucking talented, yet kinda overlooked in the western community. Everyone knows and respects RX, but Ushi might be a little better actually…tabun.

Also Ebara Hugo is pretty good so Tamu’s team is not that bad.

I’m impressed from what little I’ve seen from Bentoya, but what happened to OUT? Is that guy still playing?

Konitan was the star of necro 5 last year so I’m more interested in his team.

Ushi Urien is the best. RX is great but overall ushi is better IMO. can’t wait to see how far he’s taken yun in a year.

shame genki isn’t a part of Dudley team #1. I was looking forward to seeing how far he’s taken his Dudley in a year too.

yes ushi Urien was the best, too bad he switched to Yun (a sick yun… but “just another” sick Yun).
But RX was awesome in the last Coopcup

That’s exactly why I’m not so ready to dismiss RX as 2nd best. His performance last year was otherwordly, I mean 3 best Makoto and Boss Yun and it wasn’t even close, damn. And RX has become kinda synonymous to Urien in a way.

But still…Ushi is just scary. Switching to Yun and is now better with him than guys who have been playing Yun for years. Though I still can’t decide who has the best Yun (my money is on Yakkun).

Ushi is sick, but I think RX is just Ushi on steroids.
