Read the format I post before. NO CHANCE got OCV’ed in 2nd round group stage so they must play playoff round to get in top 16.

It was almost a “sorry Deemo, its not Kokujin’s weekend” until the finals there, and despite the full punishes on Ibuki team when he piled up maybe as many losses as wins on stream.

The playoff rules were very confusing but in the end I don’t think they were as bad as people think.

Sure no chance got ovc’ed but they won their other match to be qualified for the one match playoff.

The 2nd round round robin saw a block with Nukis team, no chance, and the Dudley who beat no chance. They beat no chance but lost to Nukis team.

So they have to play the one man one game playoff match.

I mean, the only other way to do it would have been first round round robin winner goes to a next round robin and no chance of playoffs at all. This would have led to a bunch of teams with weak 1st round blocks advancing and a few big boy teams going home in the first round.

So first round blocks. 1st place goes to second round 2nd place goes to one man single elim playoff.

2nd round robin is 1st place goes to final 16 and 2nd place goes to a one match one man playoff.

Single elim tourney winner gets a chance to play vs the 2nd place 2nd round player.

The only thing I would have changed is the one man matchup with the 2nd round robin 2nd place winners. It should have been 5v5.

The reason for all these wacky rules was that there was just too many people. It’s good though, right?
