I don’t think 2-3 bar combos are really worth using, especially solo ones.

Curious Dr. Grammar, you have any tips for the F+MK link? It has such awkward timing and it’s a 1 frame link. I can’t seem to get the timing down at all.
The only thing you can do is plink it with LP to make it a 2f window.
If you hold forward you go into flamingo stance and you can link s.lp (3 framer), so it’s the same as plinking. Though you won’t be able to special cancel afterwards…you would either do s.mp xx launcher or use a bar for ex HH.
Also, obviously if you have a counter hit charge it’s much easier to link afterwards. Should be a 4 frame window if the same sf4 counter hit rules apply (+3 on medium and heavy attacks).
That might be character-specific because I’ve tried using FLA LP, but the pushback from the overhead caused it to whiff on crouchers.
Stupid me for not training the overhead on crouching characters.

edit: Now that I figured them out…all the same combos I use, mostly. And there are some 3 bar combos that are worth it. Mostly if you can charge ur partners super during hk HH. With Ryu I can get 577-650.
Are you starting with 2LK because it has more range than 5LP?
cr.lk is one frame faster. I believe cr.lp outreaches cr.lk.
I think so. When youre doing a j.mp and its blocked, its easy as hell to interrupt your string, you can easily get jabbed between j.mp and 5LP/S.LK. ALso 2LK is his fastest normal without flamingo.

Its true that cr.lp outreaches cr.lk, while cr.lk is 4 frames, st.lp/5LP is 8 frames.

It’s because it’s his fastest attack and also hits low. You can easily substitute 2LP or 5LP in any of those combos.
Don’t know if I’m the first but I found a metreless 415 and a 1 metre 520 on Hwoarang.
I play at a friend’s so I don’t remember if these are the exact values but I do remember the metreless being above 410 and the 1 metre being above 515.

Good combos but the second one can be done easier, more damage and with more chance of hitting ( the ex HH can be very dfferent depending o nwhere it hits )
