I just saw that Sai Rec Vid with some of the infinites and crazy ass comboes (like Kyosuke). I heard what they did was slow down the game and use programmable pads. Does that mean that slowing down the game allows more comboes or that some comboes can’t be done by people? Cuz I saw some crazy shit that looked like they would never link (like with Cammy).
Faster gameplay can cause frameskips, so slower speed should allow for more flexible inputs.
All of the combos are possible within the confines of the game, but a bunch of them are all but humanly impossible at normal speed. I mean, the links are all solid, you can do them normally, but the charge buffering stuff (multiple Sonic Boom corner combos) is just a pain to do without slowing the game down.
like shin said… it’s slower to allow better inputs, and faster reaction/charging.
but all of these combos are basically a bunch of 1 frame links, which are near impossible to do without a programmed pad. other combos are textbook frame advantage and juggles… how many ppl u know actually do the steel rain super??? when the opponent is in your face, and your cornered??? … thought so
but major props to sairec and team for that vid, still takes major skills to think of, program, and perform these combos… and just for our enterrainment
