i haven’t even integrated Bubble (ya i said it) into my ground game yet at all, so i’ll see what it’ll do. Which if any god and top tier characters get caught up in “Death Sphere” infinite btw?

I got rapity-raped with Thanos at endgame and that made me hate on him for a good day or so, but i’m ready to step up his game.

As far as team building with Thanos in mind, i’m looking to

a: build some bar for him
b: give him a solid AA in conjunction with his bHK and sHP
c: put someone after him in the roster that functions well as a dhc from POWAA

for building that bar, i’m looking at Ruby, Gief, Psylocke

aa i’m lookin at Ken, Psylocke, Morrigan

dhc functionality i like Wolvie for dhc dpPP after blocked POWAA then Speed rush but he takes up bar that Thanos needs to create virtually all his options. Other than that, Morrigan also would function with whiff qcfKK, then mixup. Also I like Ruby for qcfPP immediate land to cancel and rtsd.

basically thats +2 for Psy, Ruby, and Morrigan, so two separate teams–

Ruby/Thanos/Psy and Morrigan/Thanos/Psy

lookin at those two squads right there they seem pretty bonkers in terms off how they would have to work-- Ruby just wants to build as much bar as possible to get Thanos in, then Ugly Chin gotta use Psy to blast em qcfPP, safe dhc in Ruby if necessary to save missed POWAAs.

Now i’m thinkin CapCom is essential for Thanos. You could just sit in the corner with a rainbow bar and go to town

Thanos definitely needs an anti-air to break down on the amount of pushblocking he will need to do. Anti-airs that land close to him to mid-screen are his best options if he mains a game w/o meter. Given meter, he can pretty much cover anyone. If you intend to do any type of offensive with repeated sj. d+:hk:s into whiff then c.:lk: or whatever, you need something to cover his ass.

What really adds to Thanos’ game is filling the gap between s.:hp: and :lk: Death Sphere.

I’m running Colussus AA/Thanos Capture/SonSon AA now.

Quick nice little assist killer:

-hit both point character and assist with sonson AA, Power super. Keep repeating power supers until assist is killed-2 or 3.

Power ball tracks and hits both characters. So while point character can block the ball, they still eat chip and assist eats all of the damage. Since thanos recovers before the super finishes, he can throw another to keep both characters in place to prevent either from landing or doing anything else like air dashing or flying since they’re still in hit/block stun from first power ball.

You can also tag in Thanos again and do the bubble Inf in the corner and you can do ( not tested - should work) j Lk + bubble, j. Mp, , j Mk, j Hk, bubble hits - Ruby Inf. on Standing Sent. Could do the same with other characters - Tag em in - jumping chain with bubble - and do Inf. on standing characters.

In match you’d want to bubble inf for while… get the meters back for free.

Yeah the bubble Infinite works midscreen on many characters. However, the j hp, j hk (land) bubble Infinite variation only works on a few characters.

Thanos Infinite (9 Variations)

I recorded a video yesterday which shows 9 variations of the Thanos Bubble Infinite in one combo. To my knowledge, this is the most variations that have ever been shown of this Infinite in one combo. I included the inputs in the video information section.
