How about GGXX players? I may be dropping by end of this year.
in terms of arcades, they have KOF machines (i think 98) and tekken 5.1. no guilty gear or sf3 machines that i remember.
there’s really no community for anything tho o well
I will be in Thailand in January next year for a few weeks. I will be going all over the place… Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket etc whilst there. I am interested to see if there are any 3rd Strike or Super Turbo players over there. What are the arcades/game centres like? Is there any type of “scene” there?
Please note, I only play these games - 3rd Strike, ST - nothing else. Would be down to have some games if I have the time.

SF3 machines are super rare and i’ve only seen up to 2nd impact here. i’ve never seen a non-hacked SF2 machine, and even those are super rare nowadays.
arcades mainly consist of old fighting games, some newer light gun and racing games, and about 20 ps2’s hooked up to tv’s where you can request games to play for about $1/hour.
at least 95% of the ps2’s will be filled with people playing winning eleven 12 super hacked rainbow edition however.
if you are interested, you may take some pictures with tanks instead
